Q:I tried the dishsoap and water method, nothing works. There are just rings of water everywhere! How do you properly clean it?: Are okorder ., to locate one near you. Hopefully, if you have pets in the home, they are not allowed on the furniture. Also, do not allow meals or snacks to be consumed while sitting on the sofa. Eat in the kitchen.

Q:Four of these sofas can be put together to form a large square. I have a picture of four of the sofas put together, but i do not know the brand name of the sofa and therefore cannot find where to buy it. The first one is a little out of style and you will get tired of a L configuration. And if you move it may not fit your new room. the first one would be OK in a basement or TV room. But if you want the one with the most style and if you are young , go with the 2nd sofa.

Q:I was trying to get rid of my full size bed because Im moving into my apartment in April. But for some reason I can't get rid of it lol Anyway. I was thinking of puttingi t in my living room turning it into a sofa.... any ideas how I can decorate it to give it that sofa look?: If you can sew, make bolsters to go against the wall at the back, and matching upholstered cushions and spread. You could build a frame to put it on that gives support to back and sides for regular pillows to be used as bolsters or cushions. It would be a very Middle-Eastern thing to have in your living room. This may be why you can't get rid of it - not many people like to buy used beds because of transfer of mites, body fluids, old skin cells and even bedbugs.

Q:I live at home with my parents and we are getting new sofas for the first time in a long while. The old ones have a detailed floral pattern which I find very ugly and outdated, but my parents don't mind it. Q:Couple of months ago I asked about my dogs peeing on sofa. Got several answers back; all said to crate train them, train them to go outside etc. The problem is that they are trained to go outside and they won't pee in their 'crate'. However, I have one sofa that they tend to pee on even if they just came in from outside. They are nearly 18 months old, sisters, and are Chihuahuas. I'm not even sure which one does it! Any suggestions?: Have the dogs been checked by a vet? Ruled out possible urinary tract infection, crystals, etc.? When dogs are eliminating inappropriately, the first thing to do is a vet check-up. They may associate peeing outdoors with pain (from infection, etc.), and try eliminating in other places. It's likely that one dog is doing the peeing on the couch-take a fresh urine sample (less than 24 hours old) from each dog to the vet (marked, of course) for urinalysis.

Q:My power keeps flickering out every once in a while so I lit a candle just in case, and I accidentally spilt wax onto the cushion. I can't get it out. I tried scraping it off, vaccuming it, and I tried the ice thing I read that got it out of other people's carpets and junk.The sofa is made of this soft velvety junk and the wax is like soaked into it or something. I can't even just turn the cushion over. Other people of Answers said use an iron, but there's no iron in our house. Does anyone have any other ideas?Please help! My mother will come home tomorrow afternoon and kill me! Thanks!: Ok I think I can help you- I've gotten this out of a bunch of fabrics. No iron? do you have a hair dryer? Use brown paper grocery bags, and place them on the wax. Turn your hair dryer on LOW to start, just in case the heat could damage the sofa fabric. Let the heat of the dryer melt the wax, and keep soaking it up in the paper bag- I ususally tear up the bag into managable pieces. This may take a while, but I have gotten wax out of a neighbors rabbit fur pelt he had on his dresser. this does work. I would try to borrow a neighbors iron if you could, however, that would go faster. Keep checking the fabric underneath the paper- to make sure its not burning the sofa fabric. good luck- hope this helps!

Q:I was looking at the Holland America cruise ms Veendam and I wanted to know what a sofa looks like when it is converted into a bed. Does anyone have a picture? It's an ocean view cabin.: It looks like any regular sofa bed, but is actually comfortable. It will be opened and made up as a bed in the evening, and closed up for use as a sofa the following morning, all by the cabin stewards. I have no photos, though. Addendum: Veendam is a sister ship to Maasdam, which is my personal choice among HAL ships. The sofa beds I have enjoyed on Maasdam, both doubles and queen size, work exactly the same as those found at home, and the back cushion stays in place while the seat cushions are stowed. Perhaps Veendam has another style, of course.
