- No. Older versions of the 360 have a much more powerful brick. The newer ones have a less powerful one and the cable that goes from the brick to the plug is different.

- Some specialized power supplies have the power cable built-in and you can plug that directly into the card. - That's the power cable, you'll have to look on the turntable it's self to see what the voltage is. Maybe some were standard 110 volt (220 in Europe), but usually they are lower, something like 24 volts or 48 volts. Those were pretty common in the 1980s when complete component stereos were commonly sold much like 'Home Theater Speakers In A Box' are today. The amplifier plugged into the wall everything else like the cassette deck, radio tuner turntable plugged into the back of the amp using those low voltage cables. There were some advantages to this system. The obvious ones being you only had one 110 volt electric cord you could turn on the stereo with the touch of one button. But it also made the system use less of your home's electrical power. Since the only component that needs a lot of power is the amplifier, you could use lower voltage transformers for the other components. Which I suspect are smaller, run cooler, or both. They might even have less noise interference than 110 volt transformers. (Perhaps someone who knows how electronics circuits work can enlighten us on what the actual advantages are.) I also suspect it saved on the cost of building the stereo systems. If the turntable uses 110 volts, it should be pretty easy to have someone convert the turntable to have a standard power cord on it. If the turnable uses a lower voltage, it probably wouldn't be cost efficient enough to make the conversion unless you knew enough about electronics to do it yourself. And you may want to look for the amplifier or receiver that the turntable is compatible with, on OKorder or Craig's List.

- Q: We have AT U-verse and we lost power during a storm. The picture returned and sound through the tv speakers but our surround sound did not. We have an Onkyo receiver along with the U-Verse cable box but nothing was changed.Any ideas?
- That used to happen to me too, quite frequently. What happens is when the power goes out, the receiver looses its settings and goes to a default mode. You have to go into the setup menu and reset all the values so it recognizes that all the speakers are present. I say this USED to happen because the power used to to go off if someone down the block so much as sneezed hard. We rarely went more than a week without a failure. Then Hurricane Sandy blew through and tore things up, including the power lines. It took more than 10 days to fix it but they apparently fixed all the weak spots - we haven't had much more than a blip since. Of course, during that 10 day period I went out and bought an array of batteries and a power inverter as well as a generator - which are now pretty much useless.

- I take it you are inserting it the right way up, and can only think the plug needs to be bolted in. Look for 2 small bolts, and holes they will fit through. Something that big may need that, as it could shake out otherwise. There may be something that prevents you plugging in when the power is on. If all else fails read the instructions or contact Dell. I could come and help in return for a few favours.

- The amp won't turn on unless there's voltage on the remote terminal. That's the function of the amp remote wire; it connects to a head unit output, which sends voltage to the terminal when the head unit is on. If you don't connect a remote wire, the amp will never turn on. If you connect the remote wire to a constant power source, the amp will never turn off. You need to wire it to a key-switched power source, or the remote output at the head unit. A few amplifiers have signal-sensing circuits that will automatically turn the amp on whenever an audio signal is detected. These amplifiers do not require remote cables, but they're fairly uncommon.

- Check first for any factory made holes that are not in use or have extra space to be used. If you are explorer is anything like my Taurus I would say somewhere near where your steering wheel connects to the firewall. But it will be kinda risky around that area since you would have to be careful for your power steering.
