Q:i want to put new speakers in my car. i want to put two new speakes on the front doors and two new speakers in the back doors. i want to know whats better. 2 way speakers or 3 way speakers. i don't even know what that means but i just want to put in new speakers. can anyone help me out: Depends on what you're looking to do. 2 way is usually a tweeter type for mids and highs. A 3 way is low mids and highs. I suggest 3 way.

This is so that your power source (receiver or multichannel Amplifier) can amplify the signal from your source equipment to the speakers. You will also have your source equipment in this location (cd player, mp3 player etc) So just the installation without the speakers and equipment is going to run over $400. So your other options are to ether get powered speakers for each room you want music, but this will also require a source equipment for this room as well, or a portable music type system. Honestly for $400 your looking more type one or two portable players you can take into other rooms for music. So sorry to say a multiple room system will not be in your budget. Q:I am new at DJing and I am buying my first pair of speakers but, I can't figure out what the differences are between the speakers.Monitor speakers, loudspeakers, 2-way speakers, PA speakers, etc.: Monitor speakers are for your ears only so you can hear what you are doing, loudspeakers are another name for speakers, 2 way speakers are those with a woofer and a tweeter. these are not the most efficient, but they sound good for compact bookshelf speakers. would'nt use them for DJ'ing though, too much distortion at high volumes. PA speakers are Public Address. These are the type found in your high school intercom system, good for voice but lousy for music and terrible with base tones. Hope that helped some.

The horn itself is ok but what is blow is called the compression driver - it is the part attached to the horn inside the speaker. A lot of it depends on the current gear. Did you buy a $299 box system? If so - you cannot add a different speaker. The speakers with the all-in-one system only work with that system. The ability to mix parts - or even repair the thing - was given up for the low price. If it is a name-brand speaker, then you should try to get another speaker of the same make and model as the right-rear. This is so the sounds will not shift tone as they swirl around. Ideally - all 5 of your speakers should be identical but the back 2 can be different, but they should match. In truth - 5 different speakers will 'work' but dont expect a good surround sound illusion. Hope this helps.

Q:Hi, currently I have some klipsch promedia 2.1 pc speakers on my computer. And these are what I use to fill my whole room with sound. I'm 16 so I just need to worry about my room. So on my desk are my computer speakers but behind my desk is a dresser. Im thinking about buying the Klipsch kb 15 bookshelf speakers for the top of the dresser. I already have a receiver, and if these speakers don't have enough bass I have a sub woofer I could hook up. The main reasons I'm thinking about buying them is because I can only use my current speakers when i turn on my computer (its a pain to unplug aux cord from down below). And My desk is underneath a loft bed so the speakers don't spread the sound across the room to well. So my question is would I notice the difference if I bought these new bookshelf speakers. In terms of sound, loudness, clarity. BTW I would be keeping the computer speakers as well. Thanks!: The KB15s should do pretty well, especially in a normal bedroom. You can avoid the need for a sub by using speakers with larger woofers. Generally, 8 will do in normal rooms, and 6 is probably enough for small rooms.

Q:I have a pair of Bose speakers, and I am trying to use them with my Traktor Kontrol S2 (DJ hardware). The speakers are connected by both audio cords, (white and red) to the Traktor's audio ports, and the Traktor is connected by USB to my laptop. I can get the sound to come out of the laptop's built in speakers, but I can't figure out how to make it go to the Bose speakers that I have set up.: Have you connected the speakers to the ouput connection or input connections, if the are pluged in input you won't get any sound, they have to be connected to output to work it is a simple mistake so I thought I would mention it, if not there may be an optional shunt in a software program that will switch to main speakers or maybe a port connection serial or otherwise, on early computers they had com 1 and com 2 serial ports, they may have some strange configuration pattern just check around see what you can find.
