Q: i blew out my marshall 250dfx speakers, and wondering if its hard to replace speakers and what kind should i get?: I have a Crate tube amp from the 90s, and has amazing tone, designed by Lee Jackson. lucas is thinking in narrow-minded terms, and if he would invest in an amp over $100, he just may well find a good sounding one.

Q: i want to buy some speakers for the behringer ep4000but im having a hard time finding what to get.i've already checked out the behringer vp2520 but they say its crap.also, do the jbl jrx 125 match the amp? (the speakers are 500W RMS and the amp 950W RMS)im looking for something not too expensive and also not very crappy quality.im going to use them for parties (playing club music) 5-10 times per year.i was thinking something bellow 1 grand for two speakers: Yes the JBL JRX speakers will work great with that amp. Keep in mind that it is distortion that damages your speakers - if you push that amp so loud that it goes into distortion, your speakers will not last long. Keep an eye on the peak or clip lights on the front of the amp when you are playing the system loudly - they should light up rarely if at all.

Q: I just got a 1998 Audi A4 quattro and the speakers originally were bose but the original owner removes the rear speakers and the front passenger speaker. Leaving the driver side door speaker, which was blown out. so i replaced the rear with brand new speakers but yet when i turn them up loud they begin to distort and crackle. Is it because there new and need broken in?: first verify to be certain if the speaker is grounding on something the place it it fixed electric powered tape around the advantageous and damaging terminals on the speaker works great ! verify all the wires and connectors in case you have an o.e.m deck it may be the wires at the back of the deck. good success with that .

Q: I have a boombox and its hooked up to house speakers and they both cut in and out what can i do to fix it????: The problem could be the speaker wires, but it can also be the speakers. It will also depend on the type of speakers you have, most home speakers operate at 8ohms will car audio are at 4ohms. If the speakers are rated at lower ohms then your boombox can handle, then that can lead to problems as well. Also if your boombox may be providing more power then the speakers can handle.

Q: How will i know if im buying good speakers (mostly for music and gaming) when looking at the specifications of the product? What is the diffrence between 2.0 speakers and 2.1 speakers? Are all subwoofers made by wood, is there better quality subwoofers made by different materials? Anyone have some awsome computer speaker products?: If you want good speakers don't get computer speakers. Use a good set of stereo speakers and a good amplifier. Connect the speaker out from your computer to the line input on the amplifier. Then you can have some good sound. Just don't get magnetic computer media near the speakers. Keep the speakers at least 4 feet from you computer for safety as they have very strong magnetics in them and they aren't shielded.

If only one speaker is trying to produce all the sound it will sound lesser of quality, the more the better) also consider the input. and the volume you are using them at (if given to much power it could kill the speakers or make a lousy sound)

Q: A speaker+woofer set below 20 dollar(1000 indian ruppes)for pc.very sory for low bugdet: If you can have a little more patience, I would suggest you wait until you can afford, if at all possible speakers at $100 price point. I don't know your circumstances but between the time you buy a set of $20 speakers and turn them on, you will be ready for another set. Best.

Q: i have an 04' Maxima and tha speakers are ok but not tha loudest,, but i found out that one speaker(front left) wasnt working,, so i decided to go ahead n buy new door speakers thinkin that would fix tha problem and give me better speakers,, but i started installin with tha front left speaker n when it was all hooked up i tested it and it was REALLY soft,, all of tha other speaker seem to work fine but a couple times in tha middle of a song tha bass will seem to kick in for a breif second. Any ideas about what might b wrong??: Step 1: Check to make sure the balancefade settings are neutral or biased to that speaker. Step 2: Do a continuity check on the speaker wire between the head unit and the speaker ends. (disconnect both ends) I suspect you have a short in the wire somewhere. If you dont have a multimeter, first check by hooking up a different speaker. If the other speaker still doesnt work then replace the speaker wire from the head unit (dont worry about running behind the dash ect yet, just hook up the speaker to see if it works).
