- If the speaker is rattling, it needs to be replaced. There's no good way to repair a stock speaker. You'll want to buy at least one pair of speakers, to replace the speakers on both sides. But we can't tell you what size or give you speaker suggestions, because you forgot to tell us what kind of car you have, or whether it's the front or rear speaker that's failing.

- The speakers or the box should definitely state if they are wireless. The term channel could mean several things, as in left or right stereo channel or it could be a model name or the brand name. A wireless speaker will need a power cord on it. This is to power the wireless receiver and amplifier to make the speaker work. It will not need (but I suppose it could have) any audio connections on it.
- Q: i have Durabrand 5.1 surround sound speakers and need help.heres the situation.in the back of the subwoofer theres a thing where u put the speaker wires in and the center speaker (which is the blue one) isnt working.when i put it in the red or gray ones it works fine.so it isnt the speaker thats messed up. the back of the subwoofer is the problem.how would i fix it?and where does the center speaker go?front? back? where?
- Center speaker goes either on top of below your TV. think of it as center-front speaker .ok so the center speaker out is broken on your sub woofer. if that is the case, you have to figure out how to take apart the sub woofer to get to the back of the connector for the center speaker out. Just hope that it's a simple problem like a loose connection and not a electronic/circuit board problem. If it is something more serious, either call the manufacturer or buy a new 5.1 receiver

- im not sure which package your jeep is but heres all the sizes you will need for it: STANDARD The standard equipment speaker system includes speakers in six locations. One 6.4 centimeter (2.50 inch) diameter tweeter is installed on each end of the instrument panel top pad. One 15.2 by 22.9 centimeter (6 by 9 inch) full-range speaker is located in each front door. There is also one full-range 16.5 centimeter (6.5 inch) diameter full-range speaker located in each rear door. PREMIUM The optional premium speaker system features six Infinity model speakers in six locations. Each of the standard speakers is replaced with Infinity model speakers. One 6.4 centimeter (2.50 inch) diameter Infinity tweeter is installed on each end of the instrument panel top pad. One 15.2 by 22.9 centimeter (6 by 9 inch) Infinity woofer is located in each front door. There is also one full-range 16.5 centimeter (6.5 inch) diameter Infinity full-range speaker located in each rear door. And yes Best buy will install your speakers even if you dont buy them off best buy its roughly 40$ an hour i believe they usually do 40$ per pair. Component Speaker Driver + A Seperated Tweeter usually placed in the pillars Coax Speaker Driver + Tweeter built in to speakers these can be 2 way or 3 way I prefer Coax myself, but to each their own, i would say get 3 way for the front, and two way for the rears, the rear is just a filler right so you dont need to be too sophisticated in the back uinless you really want to be.
- Q: I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier z24. Recently I had an aftermarket radio installed in it. All of the stock speakers worked until now. I have had the radio for about 3 weeks now. Now when I play songs the music only comes out of the front left speaker. Recently the right speaker sounded distorted and fizzy. Now the right side speaker plays no music at all. - It could be anything from bad connections behind the dash to blown speakers. In most cases, it is better to upgrade the speakers from the stock ones, especially as the car ages as the speakers are worn. I would suggest taking it back to where you had it installed and see if they will diagnose the problem for free since it is a recent install. I personally would likely go ahead and get the speakers as well either way. If they will not help you out by diagnosing the problem, tack that up to a shop to not visit in the future. Plenty of places out there that will take care of you as a customer.

- Is it the speakers or the sound card? it's 2 different things. Speakers repair will be cheap. If you have onboard soundcard (commonly) well, may be it's quite expensive.
