Q: guitar amp, stereo speakers
If you mean your home stereo speakers, don't do it! There is a reason that home stereos and professional guitar amps have different types of connectors. The two types of speakers are vastly different in their power handling and frequency ratings. They are two different systems for two entirely different purposes. Guitar amps are overpowered for delicate stereo speakers. Even if you use a small guitar amp at low volume, the impedance mismatch is dangerous. Yes, it is possible to play guitar through a typical home stereo, but unless you know all about impedance, resistance, power handling and all the other technical variables, it is a bad idea. You could very likely destroy both your amp and the speakers. It will not sound good anyway. Please, save yourself the heartache and expense. Trust me. I know!
Q: Does each speaker HAVE to be on its own channel or can you run a set of speakers on a single channel?
yes each speaker has to be on its own channel, if you run 2 speakers in parrallel it will reduce the resistance, which at high volumes will either pop the speakers or blow the amp, although you can run cross overs and have a low freq speaker and a high as well, hope that helps
Q: Can Portuguese speakers understand spoken Spanish?
Spanish speakers would only understand about one word in 10 of spoken Portuguese - despite the fact that the languages *look* similar. Portuguese speakers tend to understand far more Spanish than the other way around. This is because of the way Portuguese is pronounced.
Q: I just bought new speakers for my pc, but i also want to have the manufacturer speakers connected, ho wcan i do that? I have tried on my motherboards outputs but only the center one emmits sound, why? Can the other outputs used for my other speakers?
Well, you first have to identify the output/input receptacles as to what they are used for. You'd be better off looking at your User's manual or Quick connect diagram and they should tell you how to connect your speakers to the computer. If you try to connect two sets of speakers to your computer, you can cause excessive loads to the circuit and cause damage to the sound chip unless it's design for it. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Why would you want to connect two sets of speakers in the first place? Are we only talking about Left and Right channel speakers only?
Q: Every time i listen to music or watch a video on my computer, the speakers will suddenly make a loud noise and cut out any other audio. Its hard to explain the sound it makes but it sounds kind of like a choppy horn going. It only lasts for a split second, but no matter what i do, how loud it is, it will keep doing this, around every 10 seconds or so. I know for a fact that it is not because of the speakers.(it happend with my last ones too) Also, im not sure if this is the same problem or not, but i cant watch any videos using Windows Media Player. It will show the video but it will be all lines through it and distorted. Any help on fixing my problem would be great. Thanks.
Buy new speakers. or in the bottom right corner of your computer click the picture of a speaker and ajust it you could have just blew your speaker
Q: i have 2 peavey eurosys 1 speakers but in one speaker only the bass sounds come out, but the other speakers has bass and highs, what does this mean then
It means the horn on the speaker with only bass sounds is blown. The horn itself is ok but what is blow is called the compression driver - it is the part attached to the horn inside the speaker. Getting the replacement driver is the hard part - you will need to try the Peavey website.
Q: I wanna buy sets of componet speakers and I've searched a lot of these speakers and pictures of them, here is the stupid question, seems that a set of componet speakers just have 2 Tweeters and 2 speakers with all different sizes.Where the hell should I put them,I need same size speakers to put on the right side of my car right? If I buy 2 sets of them, there would be 4 tweeters.Anyone can help me plz
why would you need to put the speaks on just the right side? I'm confused as too your question. do you just need 1 speaker? Reword you question so we can better understand it.
Q: I am trying to buy a speaker but i know nothing about speakers. They give you the watt output and etc. What should i look for in a speaker? The higher the watt the better?
Quality is not determined by how many watts a speaker can handle. It's more about how well it plays the program material given to it. Frequency response is important. Try to find a speaker system that will play as close to 20Hz to 20,000Hz as possible. Most small speaker systems for a PC come with two small speakers and a powered subwoofer. A system like this will realistically have a frequency response closer to 40Hz to 20kHz -which is still quite good considering the compact size. You can go from just a pair of small speakers to plug into your computer, to a three-piece speaker system that you just plug into the computer and the wall outlet, all the way up to going with separates (i.e. small integrated amplifier, two speakers, and a larger powered subwoofer) -depending upon your budget and how much space you want to take up next to your computer. Here are some fine examples for your to consider H a p p y L i s t e n i n g !
Q: how do i connect my 2 speakers ive got two sony speakers i want to connect them to my sony standalone dvd player it currently plays music through my tv speakersbut i need stereo audio through both of these speakers the problem is each speaker has got a single wire dividng into two wires and there are no pins at the end here is the link of the wire of one speaker
The speakers have to be connected to an amplifier. You can't just hook up speakers to a DVD player, since the signal is not loud enough to drive unamplified speakers. The other option is to buy powered speakers, like you might use for a computer.
