- Q: i know nothing about car speakers and mine just blew out in my cobalt. i have a pioneer radio, and i was wondering what speakers would work best in my car, a 2 way or a 3 way pioneer speakers?
- 2 way speakers have a woofer and a tweeter. 3 way have a woofer and two tweeters and so 3 ways should be louder when properly powered. but personally, i like more bass than mids and highs. but its all up to what you prefer. check out amazon they carry almost everybrand of speaker and their prices are unbelievably low.

- Yes the rear speakers still need to be plugged in, and that's for each speaker. In other words each rear speaker has it's own ac plug. And also from what I've read you lose quality in the rear speakers they cannot produce 96 kHz/24 bit sound , only the wired ones can. Don't waste your money they are not great speakers. These are the puppies to get : Logitech? Z-5500 Digital 505 watts RMS I want them but can't afford them.

- Q: I need help installing some 6.5in alpine SPR-17C speakers in my 08 lancer. its a lancer DE w/ regular factory speakers, not the rockford fosgate option. my problem is this, the speaker mounting spot is triangular, and not circular. the supports of the speaker are too wide and so the speaker doesnt reach all the way into the opening (because the opening is not circular the speaker hits the flat ends of the triangle). currently im thinking i have to cut away some metal, but id have to get that done professionly most likely and thats exspensive, so does anyone have tips for either cutting the metal, an adapter piece that will work on the lancer, or just a trick to getting them in?
- make a baffle out of some mdf wood. You can screw the baffle into the metal to secure it and the wood will give you an extra .75 inch of clearance, and hopefully that would be enough. You might have to cut the plastic off the door over the speaker for this and put a separate grill over the speakers to make this work though

- Does your amp have enough output channels to run the speakers in addition to the subwoofer? Don't connect your front and rear speakers to the same output as the sub. If you're replacing four car speakers, you'd need a 5-channel or 6-channel amp to use the same amp for all your speakers and your sub. You don't have to run your speaker wire back to the trunk, through the amp, and back up front. Speaker wire runs directly from the amp to the speaker, and nowhere else. If you're connecting your speakers to an amp, then don't also have them connected to the head unit. You'll damage your head unit and amp that way.

- Hmm. Deleted drivers you mean? That is the only reason that would keep your speakers from getting sound, that or they could be broken. For sound drivers just go to your computer manufacture's website (Not the speaker manufacture) and search for your systems drivers. Look for sound drivers.
