Q: 1 speaker is 700w and the amps are 1000w each can i put 1 amp to 1 speaker????
Yes you can. Just don't crank the gain up too far or you might damage the speaker.
Q: I have two Polk mm571 speakers 15-90 rms, 2.7 ohms, and 200w max
Rockford Fosgate Punch 400-Watt Multi-Channel Amplifier is a excellent amp. rockford test's every amp they sell and record the numbers then put them in the box with the amp. The P4004 is rated at 50 watts x 4 at 4 ohms, the one i recieved was shown to put out 93 watts x 4 at 4 ohms. this amp is extremely quiet, you hear nothing when in between songs. the P4004 is combined with an Alpine CDA 9885 reciever, a beautiful combo. the rockford really impressed me, I highly recomend it.
Q: I have a 46 inch Sanyo plasma screen tv, and the speakers are blown. Is it possible to have the speakers repaired? Do I have any other options? Thanks!!
Blown speakers cannot be repaired. They must be replaced. Otherwise, connect the audio OUT ports on your TV to your stereo, and use its speakers. You may need to use the TV remote to disable the TV speakers to enable the audio-out feature.
Q: I am replace the door speakers in my 80 Ford. What are the best speakers to put in? I don't believe the speakers have been replaced since the truck has been made.
Speakers range in price to thousands of dollars. If I were you and want some way above average look at focals speakers
Q: I have a 1991 Honda Accord LX and i'm trying to swap out the rear speakers in the very back under the rearview window. I need to know which of the speaker wires that were attached to the original speakers are postive and negative so i can hook them up to the new speakers that i have they arent colored black and red so i can't tell. the back left speaker wires are blue and white and they have a strip through them
Take one of the speakers that came out of the car and get yourself a 9 volt battery. connect a piece of speaker wire to the old speaker you took out of the car and connect the other ends of the wire to the 9 volt battery. When you do, the speaker should move either out or suck in. If it moves out, the wire that's connected to the positive post of the battery would be the positive side of your connector in the car. If it sucks in, the wire connected to the negative post of the battery is your positive side of the speaker. Does that make sense?
Q: I just purchased a 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and I want to replace all 4 of the stock speakers in the front and rear door panels. One problem, I can't find the speakers size information anywhere!!! I checked the manual and all over the internet with no avail. I really dont want to remove the door panels just to measure the size, so if anyone has this information I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Q: i am getting a home theater system (onkyo ht-s6200), i also want to get a set of floor standing speakers (sony ss-f6000). the standing speakers are 8 ohms and the receiver is a 6 ohm set. would this matchup create a problem or not?
From reading the two specifications pages for your products (linked below) it looks like you amp can handle speaker impedances from 6-16 ohms, but its rated output in watts drops, the higher the speaker impedance. For your 8 ohm speakers the output will drop to 100 watts from 130 watts for your current speakers. That means there will be a minimal decrease in output, because the amp faces more load, but it is still well within the capabilities of your amp. If you were to decrease the ohm load of your speakers, you could have a problem because the speakers would draw more power from your amp than in it capable of delivering, causing it to blow a fuse.
Q: I have an 1986 two door s10 blazer that im thinking of redoing the pulling out all the old speaker wire and putting in new speaker wire. Where does the speaker wire usually run? Is it under the carpet or what? And what gauge of speaker wire should i run through there?
Are the speakers working OK.? If they are, leave them alone ( If they are not broke don't mend them)
Q: I have a 2001 Chevy Camaro V6 with stock 6 speakers. All of them don't work except for the front left driver speaker. The hatch speakers are completely out and the sail speakers have a really really low volume. I tried replacing the stock sail speakers with new Pioneer speakers but they're still just playing at a really low volume with like no treble. Any ideas? Could it be a wiring problem?
yes its all aftermarket or all factory you can't miss match the equipment.you must have a factory amp some were and this is your problem start from scratch with a good aftermarket stereo and 4 good aftermarket speakers and use the internal amplifier in your new stereo to power the speakers by passing any factory equipment. you can use the same power supply under the dash to the stereo but run your own speaker wire from the rear of the stereo to each speaker.this will give you some good clean sound.if you plan on adding your own external amps later make sure your new stereo is set up with all the plug ins needed to run an external amp for speakers and sub outs for running an external amp for your sub or subs, this can be added at a later date but at least you will have the right stereo in place to do the job.
Q: I was given 4 car speakers. There is nothing marked on them. I would like to hook them up to my 8 ohm amplifier on my paging system. Is this possible?
Yes you can. Each car speaker is 4 ohms so you would have to hook all of them up in a series connection in order to avoid an ohm load that is below 8 so the amp doesn't fry. Hook them up like this for a 16 ohm load and you will be safe.
