Q: We just bought a nice silk rug from a wholesaler, and its 8x11. Since we bought it, it has been shedding like crazy. Is it normal? And how can you tell if it is handmade or machine-made? We bought it for $350.
Are you sure its silk? A real silk rug machine made in 8 x 11 will be over $1000. Handmade more like $3000 to $30,000. Its more sounds like a mercerized cotton rug. They look about the same. The cotton rug shedds more. Is there a label on the back of the rug with any infomation. Manufacture ? Country of manufacture? Any information will help to track it down. Post it and I will help. Two easy tests: rubb the rug with the palm of you hand, if it feels warm it may be silk. cool its cotton or rayon. One of the best tests is the burn test. Pull a piece of the yarn from the face. Just one will never be missed. Burn it, smells like burning hair, silk. smells like plastic, rayon. Smells like cloth, cotton. Also real silk is very, very strong. Cotton and rayon are must weaker.
Q: What color coffee table and carpet do match with green sofa
Sixth. Eighth, the color of the ceiling must be lighter than or the same as that of the wall. Third: the color of wall is light, and the color of furniture is dark, then the kitchen doesn't use warm colors, excluding white and black. Silver doesn't include gray and white under no design instructions Second; different enclosed spaces. The following is the scheme about color matching in house decoration, in the ground,
Q: How about carpet airdrop?
Another kind of operating practices: 1 - 5 were compiled on the transport team (assuming 5 aircraft), will transport the right key or the U key to a place in the ideal position, then press the first icon. 1 teams, 2 teams. Then the first icon, the first icon 3 team the soldiers...... Repeat, must be fast, this depends on your ability to coordinate the right and left hand, and in general, a few more practice on it.
Q: Is there a way to effectively clean my carpet without buying any special equipment? I live in an apartment building and the carpet here is very dense. Is there a way to get rid of spots and things stuck to the floor? I wouldn't want to spend more than twenty dollars on this. Can anyone help?
Okay, I had this exact dilemma a few years ago. Buy a big jug of windex window cleaner, even off brand is fine. Take a regular sponge mop and spray the floor with windex and scrub like crazy with the mop. Then when its completely dry vacuum. Simple as that!
Q: My neice spilled pink nail polish on a beige carpet, what can i do to take it out?
I read where someone said creamy peanut butter will take the stains out of a carpet, if that doesn't work try Magic Eraser by the same company that makes Mr. Clean. Magic Eraser took ink stains, nail polish, and other stubborn stains, off of toys that I use to recycle for the mission.
Q: Is it true that you are better off buying a thinner carpet (not as dense or tall) with an 8 lb. carpet padding (the best) as opposed to a thicker carpet (dense and tall) with a cheaper 6 lb. padding? The price difference in the padding is dramatic...3.50/sq. yd. vs. 6.50/sq. yd.!
well thinner carpets are easy to clean. and of coarse a thicker one, can hold more dirt. it all depends on you. in your sense of taste
Q: Or do I take it to a cleaners?
I'd do a cleaners as well.
Q: I'm looking to clean the carpet in my apartment m, and I am debating on whether I should rent a carpet shampooer or buy one. Let me know if you have any suggestions on a good one please. Also looking to buy a new vacuum does anyone have have a cheap good one they recommend

Q: hi,i am getting a new horse this Thursday, there are no rugss tack or anything like that included, so i need to find a good make of a rug in uk and i need a head collar so please could you help me ! any awnser appreciated thanks !
i have given up on rugging my pony becuase she rips them so much! native breed and she's unclipped so she really doesn't need it anyway. a horse's own coat is much better than a rug so if they're not excessivly clipped they're probably okay. if not, decathalon! ?15 turn out rug, hasn't ripped, does the job totally fine! okay it wont last forever but for now, why not. horsewear ireland are good though. bit more costly but they're really nice rugs. if you;re anything like me before long you'll have a rug for every occasion. headcoller, oh goodness, i swear they breed i have so many, infact I think there's one under my feet now. oh yes there is and it's a horsewear ireland one. i've lost count of how many i have, cheap ones do the job fine, cost about ?5, leadropes are only a few quid and i buy them impulsivly. I got a glittery rope the other day actually, it's fantastic! good luck with your new horse, you must be so excited!
Q: Hi I am fairly new to knitting and I am trying to learn how to knit a quot;purl stitchquot; rug out of a book I just purchased. The book doesn't have very good instructions. If anyone has perhaps a youtube video they could share I would love to see it. Please help! :(
I don't think a purl stitch rug is a standard thing that would have a video. It sounds like a design made specifically for that book. The thing is, there is no need to purl a whole rug when it is generally easier to knit than to purl, and a purl is just the back side of a knit stitch. So you could knit the whole thing in whatever shape you like and just turn it over to have a purl stitch rug.
