- the only way is to either vacuum daily, or if they rugs are small enough, shake them outside of all the excess dirt and dust. Imagine how much dirt would be on your floor if you didn't have the rug.

- ViVre pretty much had the answers for you. I used to sell carpet. You want to make sure you have a good installer as well. Sometimes if it's not stretched enough it will relax and develope ripples........if this happens, don't be afraid to call the installer back to restretch it. Also vacuum it every other day or so with a good vacuum. The info I gave you will help your new carpet last you a lot longer.

- yes you can replace the carpet in any car but the older cars are alot easyer to replace all you have to do is take the seats out and lift the old carpet out and when u buy new carpet make sure you get the write one for that car hope this helps good luck

- You can figure between $1.50/sqft - $4.00/sqft + installation, just depending on what type of carpet you choose. I just put some in my house that was about 1500sqft worth of carpet and paid $5500 total, and that wasn't that nice of carpet. I would shop around, yes it's nice to have some companies come to your house, but you should get several quotes and use them against each other as a bargaining tool. Good luck.

- first of all, are you looking for an heirloom piece? Try oriental rugs or persian rugs. Very costly. Can set you back a couple grand but will increase in value over time. you need to look behind the rug for the quality. You are looking for handstitched and lots of detail, etc. The most important characteristic for me is durability and washability. Some you can put into the washer, others need special cleaners, some are spot clean only. The second characteristic important to me is texture. I like plush soft carpets that you can walk on with your bare feet. Of course, color choice and design are important. (floral? transitional? contemporary?) I like transitional. I'm a fan of Mohawk and Shaw area rugs. You can find them at Home Depot. Reasonable prices for machine made rugs.

- hey. yay fur yu! getting yur horse! :D um a good make of rug i think are weatherbeeta and amigo for turnout rugs coz they are nice and warm and my horse hasnt yet ripped hers! miracle! and the amigo rugs arent riduculusly expensive. like ?50 for a decent heavy turnout. headcollars are easy go for the cheapest now in a nice colour and then get more when yu neeed then. they gather in the back of the tack room believe me. :D good luck with yur new horse. xx
