Q:The styling chair model is a CC-1808T from CCI Beauty. I want to be able to seperate the top from the base. Does anyone have a chair like this? Is there a way to seperate the two?: most of them chairs will have a gas power push up in the base but all of that section should just unscrew from under the seat. You have to get down and dirty on the floor to see. be brave a pull back any covering.

All four of my grandparents and both of my parents prefer the comfort of overstuffed reclining chairs during the final decades of their lives. My siblings and I (we're in our 60's and 70's) also enjoy the comfort of reclining chairs.: I was told, by a chiropractor, that a rocking chair would be good for my stiff back. I bought a wooden one with spindles at the back. It was very uncomfortable and bruised my back. Maybe if the spindles had been plain rather than having 'turned' designs in them it would have been more comfortable. These days I love my recliner. My rocking chair sold for a very good price in my favourite charity shop though, so it wasn't wasted.

Q:I was wondering how to make a simple slip cover for a regular metal folding chair.: For the back of the chair, try a pillowcase on it and see how it fits. What tucks do you have to make? Then try it on the seat. What type cover did you want? A full cover so you don't see the legs? You did not say. I would cut up a sheet, in fact you could use sheets if you do not want to invest in upholstery type fabric. They are washable too. Try a piece on the seat, let it hang to the floor in front, and extend up over the back of the chair until it reaches the floor below. Then you could sew the two backs together till it comes to the seat, stop there. Then you need to sew a piece to each side down to the floor. Then sew up the corners. Hem the bottoms and put a bow or Velcro fastener to the back of the seat corner, or pin it and then sew it, but you have to leave a little room so you can slip it on and off.

These are the chairs Hospitals use and Worker Comp. boards demand workers have in were repeat stress injury cases happen. They are unbelievable to sit in. I have $600 chair and it doesn't come near a SteelCase for comfort. They are worth every cent. Take a look at the Leap Work Lounge one could almost live in that chair.
