- Q: I have a wooden chair that has cracked where the leg joins to the seat. The part that screws the top of the leg to the seat has cracked. Is there anyway to repair this to avoid purchasing a new chair and keeping it a matching set?
- If i understand your question,the leg of the chair has cracked at the top where the threaded stud is, and it is making it loose. If this is the case. You need to remove the stud, then widen the crack slightly be careful not to make it worse, next put some wood glue in the crack,you can do this by using a straw to blow the glue deep into the crack,once enough glue is in the crack,you will need to clamp it. If you don't have any clamps you can tie some rope around the damaged area the use a strong dowel or stick and twist until it is nice and tight or you can use zip ties or rubber bands (but the rope works a lot better).Let it dry overnight.When the glue is completely dry you can re-tread the stud back into the leg and screw onto chair. If this wasn't what you where asking let me know and I'll give you some more solutions.

- Q: I am re-doing my dining room chairs and would like to know if 5lb. density 2.5 in. memory foam would be a good choice or should I just go with medium firm 2.5 in. regular foam. I am going to wrap the foam in batting before I put the fabric on the chairs. Also would 2.5 inches be thick enouph or should I do 3 inches? Please give details as to which foam would be better and why.

- Ok these chairs are only available if you are building a club or community lot. If you select build buy on a community lot, go to chairs and then 'miscellaneous comfort' (the three dots) and its about the third one, its Burgundy and its called 'dive seating'. You can probably download it from a site so that you cn use it on residential lots. Hope this helps!

- You don't need a chair and you can't exercise while doing anything else unless it involves exercise. You need a screen break at least every hour for your eyes. You can do pressups, situps, crunches etc. without the chair.

I used to do business with the company that serviced this van. Not sure if Mr. lovell still drives though.
