Q:need color of sig wire on maf and witch wire is sig on 02 sensore: Yes we do need car description.O2 sensors black wires are normally for the heating element.It should be one of the white wires.The wire will read 0.2 volts with a cold engine and fluctuate between 0.1-0.9 volts at normal operating temp,so look for the wire which has these voltage reading.The maf signal wire will have less than 5 volts on it.Generally it will show 0.60-0.80 volts at idle and increase to between 1.50-2.20 volts at a 2500-3500 rpm level.Be aware that a maf sensors heated wire can become dirty causing it to read and function incorrectly,so it may just need to be cleaned rather than bein replaced

Q:Replaced the old fan in my bathroom (about 10 years old) with a new fan. Trouble is this. The fan and light each work on a seperate bathroom switch. I have two spots to install the wire on the new bathroom fan/light. One for the fan and one for the ligth. However, the wiring has one white, one black, one red and the ground. Anyone know what the red is? Can I just cap it off? According the bathroom fan wiring it says something about connecting red to blue. I am slighty confused. I think it was originally only wired between the white and black. I am not sure if I have to get some extra wire and connect the black and red to the light and the white to the fan? Extra wire is confusing.: Red and black are both hot, white is neutral. Use black for fan and red for light or vice versa, depending on which switch you want to operate each one. Added - Have to hook up the white neutral wire to both the fan and the light, this creates the electrical circuit needed. You can attach all the white wires together with a wire nut.

Whats a diffenrent alternative besides hooking the amp remote wire to the car radio remote wire.: Power antenna wire (will not work if your antenna goes down when a CD/Tape is played) Any Key on, Hot wire (will cause your subs to make a pop if you have your radio off when you turn your key on or if your radio has any kind of delay on start up) Buy an wire harness to plug in an aftermarket radio so you know what wire is the AUX wire on your radio. (You will use it later when you buy the aftermarket head unit)

Q:how do I replace this, the wire is built into the speaker and runs into the unit.: If you have enough wire, just twist it back together and cover the open wiring with electrical tape. If he took out a chunk of wire, just buy some more speaker wire and do t he same thing. The wires should be red and black, just connect the red to the red and the black to the black. It's a really quick and easy fix you can do yourself.

I have two dual 4 ohm subs and need to know how to solder wires or crimp wires.: To properly solder wires you first strip off about 1/2 inch of the jacket and twist the wires together. Now heat the exposed wires, not the solder, till you can get the solder to melt when touched to them. If you really want a pro job use shrink-tubing to finish the job--it must be slipped onto the wires before soldering, then heat with a small butane torch or jet lighter. Q:I have 16 gauge speaker wire, but i need a lower gauge. instead of spending money and buying a lower gauge can i double this wire up and have that make it a lower gauge? so i would have 2 negative and 2 positive wires going into the terminal.: Doubling the wire will not make it 8 gauge. If you're running this wire from the head unit to the speakers, or from an amp to the speakers, 16g will be sufficient. If the wire is from an amp to a sub, a larger wire would be a good idea, but not a requirement. If you're trying to use this wire for the power and ground connections on the amp, you should purchase the proper wiring kit for amp installation.
