Q: The application is a bathroom light and exhaust fan combination. The fixtures wires are thiner than the supply wires. Should I wrap the thinner wire around the thicker wire or should I wrap them equally around each other? Then can I put a drop of solder on before I put the wire nut. Or is solder not a good idea?: First try twisting them together. Then put on the wire nut. Don't bother with solder since the wire nut makes a gas-tight permanent connection (but still could be removed if you want to make changes in the future).

Use insulated wire nuts. I always wrap the wire nut and connection with electrical tape. Safety First! Also my parents have house that was built in 1908 and they didn't use a ground back then. Make sure your house has one.

Q: What is the wiring for one headlight on a fourwheeler that has high and low beams.: one terminal on the bulb is common to both low and high beam. that will be the ground. the other two are the hi and low beam supply .take a test light and see which two of the three wires has power to ground . once the two hot wires are identified , the third wire will go to the common terminal on the head light bulb. take the other two and see which is hi and low by switching the switch and connect to the bulb . test the light before reinstalling it if there is no power at the wires than the problem is somewhere else

Q: On the wires leading to existing system I can see the main power lead. However all the other wires are different in color leading to existing valves. From the wire bundle two black wires (the only black wires) lead out to nothing and were left with no electrical end caps protecting. Manual says nothing on wiring valves. Any ideas on black wires? Or how can I splice in to existing system wires at valve point having one valve working at a time when system is operating? Am I going to have to get a new controler or run new wires existing controler?: As long as you have an extra colored wire and your controller will support the extra valve, it will work. Q: I am wiring a sony xplod amp up in my car and need to know what the skinny blue wire goes to. Any help would be appreciated.: its the remote wire. it goes from your amp to the back of your stereo deck. if you have an aftermarket deck ( which i would hope you do) there will be a wire labeled that says remote wire. connect the blue wire with that wire behind the deck. the whole purpose of the wire is to tell the amp to turn on and off with the car.
