- Q: All right I am frustrated. My keyboard is not working properly. Periodically, the s and d keys don't work, sometimes the . doesn't work when I press it, the shift key is not working properly like when I shift+s it gives me |S, sometimes when I press s it spits out #92;s, when I do shift+j, it deletes part of the paragraph I'm typing out. So I'm just having a bunch of issues with the keys now. My computer has never done this to me until the past 2 days. What is wrong? I don't know if it'll help telling you that still need to activate windows. A month and a half ago I got a student version of windows ultimate which was suppose for upgrade and right now the system is telling me I need to activate.
- Try another keyboard. Try re installing the driver for the keyboard. it should not matter if its been activated or not. If the keyboard is acting up, its probably just the keyboard itself. the only option is to replace the keyboard

- The keyboard can be wireless, it can even be bluetooth, but you can't use it with the bluetooth card on the PS3, you have to have some sort of connection through USB, and the USB adapter must come with the keyboard, using a bluetooth dongle will not work The problem is, when you load linux off of the DVD, it dosen't have bluetooth drivers, but it does have USB drivers, so you need a keyboard connected via the USB port for it to work, any keyboard and mouse with a USB connector will work just fine

- Casio Keyboards really aren't that great. They're quite cheap, Yamaha Keyboards are actually better, but it matters what model it is as well, so you can't just say Casio. But usually Yamaha is better.

- Q: For school next year, we are getting iPads, and I'm planning on getting a wireless bluetooth keyboard for mine. But I was wondering if, with a bunch of people in class trying to use them, if my iPad could pick up the wrong keyboard? I know that you're supposed to press a button on the bluetooth keyboard and scan for wireless devices on your iPad to make it work, but if someone else is doing it at the same time, could the iPad pick up the wrong keyboard? Could this happen, and if so, would it be better to get a wired keyboard? Thanks :)
- It is possible for the iPad to pick up the wrong keyboard, but quite unlikely. You should pair them either when everyone else has done theirs, or before the class starts. Worst case scenario, you get the wrong keyboard connected, and just disconnect it and try again. Also, there are no wired keyboards for the iPad; they are all bluetooth.

- Maybe your keyboard is just Used and Abused. There may be something wrong with the connector. You probably should get a new keyboard if the problem is really severe

- As long as this is a plain keyboard (i.e. has no batteries inside) you can unplug it from the computer and run hot water though it. You can also pry off the keys and clean under them (they go back on by pressing them down until they click). If you run water though it make absolute sure that you dry it out. You can use a hair dryer if you are careful enough not to get it too close. A keyboard is really nothing more then a large array of switches. These switches may corrode (depending on the make of the keyboard). But generally they can have water run though them. If all else fails simply buy a new keyboard (they are relatively cheap) and call this a learning experience about drinking liquids around your computer.
