Q: Everytime i press a key in my keyboard it acts as keyboard shortcut. Also my mouse opens the properties when i double click the folder.
It seems that one of your Alt-key is stucked or pressed permanently. Or your StickyKeys is enabled and Alt key is locked. You can check your StickyKeys settings on Control PanelAccessibility OptionsKeyboard Tab. Simply Disable StickyKeys if it is turned on.
Q: do you think i could use a roland cube 40xl as a keyboard amp?
A keyboard has a much wider range than a guitar. If you try to play too loud while playing the low notes, you could hurt the speaker in a guitar amp. It depends on the amp and the volume. I have a Peavey Session 400 and our keyboard player used it at a gig when his own amp failed. It worked fine, but it has a 15 speaker rated for 200 watts. If you play at a low enough volume, any amp would be finebut obviously the keyboard has the capability to do damage to any guitar amp if you push it too hard. You'd be safer singing through the guitar amp. There's no way you'll hurt a keyboard amp by plugging a mic into it.we've done it in a pinch at practice.
Q: 2 days ago, I spilled coffee on my keyboard, now it won't type several letters. (I am using another computer now) I read in previous answers you can rinse it out and then dry it. It is drying now. Do you think this will work?
You probably want to remove the keyboard from the computer (for instructions, do a search for dismantling the specific computer model), and then carefully clean it with various implements (like fine cloths and and toothbrushes and such). Note that when cleaning, don't much water. After cleaning, let it dry. Don't leave it out in the sun to dry; using a blow dryer is also probably not a great idea; it's best to let it sit in a dry room for a day or two. When it's dry, but it all back together and try using it again. If it still doesn't work, a repair sjop might be able to do a better job or, more likely, you'll need to replace the keyboard.
Q: If I type a few words on my keyboard can expert get my fingerprints from the keyboard? provided both keyboard and fingers are NOT moist.
Even if your fingers aren't moist, you've got some small amount of normal skin oils on them - they'll leave trace amounts on the keyboard that can be lifted by a good forensics person. That said, keyboards aren't the best surfaces to work with - the surface area you hit is fairly small, so there's not a lot of print there, and most of the keys would have multiple overlapping prints, so it would be hard to single out a particular print without it being obscured by underlying prints.
Q: I am looking for a good keyboard that is not to expensive
keyboards are a type of musical intsruemtn sorry :/
Q: i just got a used keyboard. relatively old. it's a roland D-20. my problem is, half the keyboard plays piano sounds, the other half plays electric keyboard sounds. how do i make them sound the same? be specific please. Thanks.
The keyboard is in split mode. Take it out of split mode. If you don't know how I would be willing to bet you can download a manual from the Roland web site.
Q: i have a wirless keyboard and mouse since my backslash key is messed up any way to disable the non working keyboard( origional)?
I have never actually tried this (and probably never will) for turning a laptop keyboard but it will probably work (I am assuming you are using Windows XP but you can probably figure it out for some other version easily): Get to the Device Manager - Go to Control Panel - double click System - Click Hardware Tab - Click Device Manager button In Device Manager you will see a folder structure for various devices. Click on the + next to Keyboard. You should see an entry for your keyboard. Right click on this and bring up properties. At the bottom of a properties box is a Device Usage field. Change this field to disable and click OK. That should disable your keyboard. However it is possible that the Device Usage field itself is not enabled (because Windows does not want you to disable your keyboard). In that case I have a link below to a program that claims it can disable your keyboard. I have never tried it out but you may want to. The other way to disable your keyboard is to edit your registry. Unless you are a real power user I would not remotely recommend it and won't even bother telling you how. Damaging your registry can make your computer unusable.

Q: Hello, I'd like to play games on the computer, but if I do, apparently I will break the keyboard. Is there a special type of input equipment that I can connect to the computer and change if it breaks, or that is designed for playing games? What is a joystick?
