- Try unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in. While you had it all apart it may have become unconnected or came loose. If that doesn't work you'll probably need to try a new keyboard. Only $20-30, if the new keyboard doesn't fix it, then it's the connection at the motherboard, might be time for a new one if it is, motherboard replacement can be pricey. Plug a External USB keyboard in for the time being.

- you did not specify which operating system you are using! so i assume windows: 1) click on windows start bottom, 2) type osk.exe use your mouse to check if the key works. 1) if not uninstall the keyboard from the control panel/ hardware and restart your computer. 2) also you may try to add other keyboard language from control panel, like English UK, and see if this helps.

- Make sure no Metal or microwaves are on. anything with a magnetic signal can inturupt. Try getting the PC and keyboard nearer like putting ur pc on the floor and typing near it. if not. Unplug and move the Keyboard Reciveer around. If its a usb. If its a keyboard port well, check your port with another keyboard using that port. If the wireless just wont work. take back and say. it might be a malfuntion.

- There are usually three to five screws on the bottom of the laptop that are removed to allow the keyboard to come free. Once unscrewed, a slight pry up of the keyboard from the front will allow it to slide up and free. Be careful when removing the keyboard as components are now exposed. Also take care when disconnecting the ribbon cable on the underside of the keyboard. Replace in a reverse fashion.
