- Assuming your laptop still works except for the keyboard, you can attach a USB keyboard to use. Generally, replacing a laptop keyboard is difficult, especially because you have to get the exact same keyboard to fit in the space on the laptop, dismantle the laptop and replace the keyboard. Some laptop manufacturers cover this kind of accident under their warranty. I would first consult that to see if you can have it repaired. If not, a USB keyboard would be the cheapest and easiest solution.

- for that, i dont think it's the keyboard that's going out of whack. more rather, you messed with your computer functions and programs that it's behaving like this. i've a full set keyboard razer lycosa with every single button, and from my years with it, i can tell you no set of keys would give it a few seconds delay in typing.

- depends on what you mean with keyboard and mouse combos, the ones i seen at stores here in sweden is basicly just a keyboard and a mouse from the same brand sold together at ushally a bit better price and they are exactly like buying them one by one so that means well ushally its USB ports so 2 usb ports needed, one for mouse and one for keyboard.

- Q: I was using my keyboard then suddenly it stopped working. At first I thought it was the batteries so I changed to fresh batteries, didn't work. Next I thoguht it was the port, so i took my spare keyboard and plugged it in the same port, the port works fine. So I know it is something with the keyboard now. Does anyone have ideas that could fix it.
- You may need to reset it. Look on the bottom of the keyboard for a pin hole that is usually used for resetting the keyboard with the wireless receiver. You may need to do additional steps depending on the brand of keyboard so try to find the documentation for it.
