Q: Hi all. I've managed to change the settings on my computer so that I can use Spanish characters. However, I'm now having trouble remembering HOW to create letters with accents, Ns with tildas, etc. Nor do I know what other changes there are between this keyboard setting and the English one. I own a PC, not a mac.Is there a website, or could somebody help me with a tutorial on how to create these symbols, on this setting? I'm finding tutorials that people use when their keyboard ISN'T set up to Spanish, and that's not what I want.Muchas gracias!
Why do no longer you place residing house windows to apply the worldwide English Keyboard? while chosen (Left Alt+Shift) ', ~ and ` exchange into deadkeys, then, case in point, ~ then n turns into ?, ~ two times to get ~, and so on. additionally, suitable Alt + n leads to ?. On residing house windows XP, circulate to regulate Panel, interior sight and Language, Languages tab, information, upload, Spanish (everywhere), examine keyboard format, and decide country - worldwide.
Q: For now I dont have any available p/s2 keyboard. Is there any way to reformat using a usb one? and let us say my p/s 2 slot is busted so I cant use it even I have p/s2 keyboard.by the way my OS is still Windows XP home edition and Im still reformatting to it.
You need to enter bios and set up legacy keyboard and mouse support for usb. But you may not be able to do so on some machines using the usb keyboard. You may need to buy a usb to p/s2 adapter for the keyboard. ANY machine with p/s2 support suffers this problem.
Q: Hi I'm a newbie, and I want to buy a keyboard to practice at home. What kinds of keyboard I should avoid getting? Can you give me some recommendations? My budget is $300 max
Casio Lighting Keyboard LK-230 OR the Casio Lighting Keyboard LK-300T good for beginners. Their prices range from $399.00 and up. I had a Casio Lighting LK-230, definitely worth saving for that extra 100 bucks OR Yamaha YPG 235 76-Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard from about $250.00 Yamaha NPV60 76-Key Mid-Level Piaggero Ultra-Portable Digital Piano from $329.00 Williams Allegro 88-Key Digital Piano from $299.00 Don't get any keyboard from M-audio. I've heard that they aren't very durable. Great brands to look at is Roland, Casio, Yamaha and Williams. Best is to go to a music shop and ask the people to help you out. They will be able to give you the best quality for your budget. I would strongly advise you to save up another 100 bucks or more, because it's better to get something a bit more expensive, even as a beginner, and make sure that you have something that lasts.
Q: Hi, i am looking for an keyboard lock, ive searched google and yahoo search enigens, but i still cant find one (the only things i find are ''COMPUTER LOCKS'' and those are not the ones ive searching for), i want a keylock that you can enable and disable through the computer with the mouse it would be fine if it was without a password (secure login) etc. (and it should be free)i will explain what i am exactly looking for, a keylock so if u enable it the keyboard wont work wont be active so you cant type or a small kid cant play with it, so if u know any good software, please post it would be very helpfull.

Q: how do Asian people use a keyboard. how do they get characters on the screen? and also how about mexican keyboards. does there keyboards have a enna symbol?
LOL, HUGE keyboard Thats pretty funny. I work in China (3 months out of the year) They have normal keyboards, sometimes a couple extra buttons but no more than a gaming or multimedia keyboard. The China specific software allows them to hit a letter or two that corollates to the radical for the symbol they want to get and then it pulls a little drop down menu of charecters out. This coupled with predictive typing actually makes it pretty efficient. Not for me though because I have to keep hitting some key combi that I always forget when Ive been home too long to toggle it back off before I can type English.
Q: I have a two year old laptop. Being that it is white, it gets dirty very easily. Recently I have been bothered by how nasty the little areas beneath the keys on the keyboard probably are. How can I clean my keyboard at home without taking the keys off? Do any of those keyboard vacuums work, and if so, which ones? I know about the compressed air you can buy and whatnot, but wouldn't that just push the dirt around beneath the keys, not get rid of it?
do no longer use any solvent, if that gets interior the device could be trashed, you ought to purchase particular laptop cleansing fluids that are non unfavourable. yet I continuously use a small volume of stable washing up liquid dripped onto a fabric which has been wetted and squeezed out. and then wipe of with yet another fabric wrung just about dry. And save the wiping off fabric sparkling with the help of re-wetting and squeezing it out.around the sides of keys a cotton bud further damp will artwork.
Q: I accidentally spilled Amarula on my Laptop Keyboard and was not able to type a single alphabet. I bought an external Keyboard but I would prefer to use the Laptop Keyboard. This happened a week ago and now I can type a few alphabets with my Laptop Keyboard but the rest I can't. Can someone please help me on how can I clean the Keyboard???
It is probably broke. It will need replaced. If you have a warranty, use it.
Q: How would I set up a keyboard on stage? My keyboard is a Yamaha PSR E413. How would I use guitar cables/ instrument cables to connect my keyboard to speakers that are on stage? This is so that my keyboard will directly be connected to speakers. I would plug one end into my keyboard's Phones/ Output port, but where would I plug the other end into? What components do I need?If this is in the wrong section, I'm sorry!
You need an amp of some kind -- a keyboard amp or even a guitar amp (keyboards don't sound very good through guitar amps, but they'll do in a pinch). You plug into your amp, and this is where you hear your sound. I don't know what kind of outputs your keyboard has, so you might have to use an adapter(s) with a guitar cable to plug into the amp. Sometimes you can also plug your keyboard or your amp directly into the house PA system so the sound of your keyboard gets mixed in there, too. This is in addition to the vocals and the drum microphones and the microphones on the guitar amps, etc. that also go to the house PA. Sometimes there won't be a place for you to plug your keyboard into the house PA and your amp will have to be what everyone hears. You need an amp of your own. EDIT: Thumbs down? Really? Is my answer incorrect? You got a better answer? Let's hear it.
Q: I got coffee on my keyboard. I was wondering how to keep the keys from sticking? I whipped everything off but, I am sure later when I get off the keys will become hard to push.
As long as this is a plain keyboard (i.e. has no batteries inside) you can unplug it from the computer and run hot water though it. You can also pry off the keys and clean under them (they go back on by pressing them down until they click). If you run water though it make absolute sure that you dry it out. You can use a hair dryer if you are careful enough not to get it too close. A keyboard is really nothing more then a large array of switches. These switches may corrode (depending on the make of the keyboard). But generally they can have water run though them. If all else fails simply buy a new keyboard (they are relatively cheap) and call this a learning experience about drinking liquids around your computer.
Q: I use a Chinese-based keyboard (Chinese Ms-DOS), one where I can toggle between standard English (QWERTY) and Zhuyin input for Chinese characters using the Alt + Space Bar. I cannot get this thing to accept Alt + ASCII code to type Spanish characters. Is there some way to toggle the keyboard so I can type Spanish characters using ASCII codes?
First add spanish keyboard layout to your keyboard layoutControl Panel -Region Language -Keyboardsand so on. open the on-screen keyboard, it is in Start-All Programs -Accessories -Ease of Access To switch from english/chinese/spanish keyboard layout, press Alt + Shift(en.kioskea /faq/3844-keyboard- The on-screen keyboard will help you for the keyboard layout for Spanish keyboard. This may not workhehehe
