- Q:I recently purchased a wireless keyboard for my iMac computer. and my old wired keyboard had the keyboard shortcuts-meaning F1-the birghtness would work when pressing on the key. or F7, F8, F9, F10, F11, F12 would work for my iTunes when I have music playing. Now that i have this new wireless keyboard when i press the brightness key, nothing happens. when i press F7 the replay key for iTunes nothing happens, when i press F8 it takes me to spaces. i tried to go to system preferences keyboard go to keyboard shortcuts try and change stuff but its all screwed up. how do i change it so that all the F1's-F12s or any other key is back to the way it was on my wired keyboard? i tried to look it up on google and forums but i havent found anything that made it work!PLEASE HELP!
- If it is a wireless Mac keyboard, then everything should be working. Just go to the keyboard section and set everything to the default settings. If it is not a Mac keyboard, check the website to see if there are new drivers for it.

- Yes, you can. In FL Studio, click the Options menu and make sure Typing keyboard to piano has a check mark next to it (if it doesn't, click it). Open the Channels menu, rollover Add One, and select whatever synth or drum machine you want to use. Now click the record button (to the right of the stop button) and then the play button. You'll hear 4 clicks (the metronome establishing your tempo), and then start playing the keyboard. When you hit stop, your pattern will be displayed. The layout of the computer keyboard is like a piano: q C5, 2 C#5, w D5p E6 z C4, s C#4, x D4? E5 The only hang-up for doing this is that the computer keyboard isn't velocity-sensitive (meaning all the notes will be the same volume, regardless of how hard or soft you hit the keys). Other than that, it's a good, cheap alternative to buying an expensive keyboard. I'm only familiar with this for Fl Studio. I've used other programs, but I don't know if they allow computer keyboard to MIDI recording. They probably do, but it's probably not as
