- Q: I bought a new keyboard, but there is a problem. Some of my keys wont work when pressed together. Fo instance, I can't hold W and use 2 at the same time. Same goes with all off the keys up and slightly left from the one i hold. Like K and I. Also, when I hold the up arrow I can't use the left arrow.

- It doesn't, and I can tell you that after having a backlit keyboard on my MacBook Pro, I'd never buy a laptop that doesn't have a backlit keyboard.

- yes although, it can be tricky look for a USB keyboard or full sized keyboard specifically made to be used for a laptop. as many laptops will not have the ps/2 port that a traditional/old keyboard utilizes. there are tiny gizmos that are convertors. ps/2 to USB that often come with keyboards. but make sure it does, if you're getting a keyboard of that type. as far as how it'd exactly work once connected to your laptop i'm sure it's a simple matter of going to control panel/keyboard and making sure the new keyboard is there and or switching to it. Or it may just naturally recognize itand you do nothing. would depend on the laptop.
- Q: Anyone with an electronic piano keyboard: in the some 100 different voices it can play (like the organ voice or the harpiscord voice), does your keyboard have a voice that is based on the Wurlitzer piano? Is it common at all? My keyboard doesn't have it. If so, what brand and/or model is your keyboard and how close does it sound and feel to a real Wurliter (sustain, distortion, bark, etc.)? Thanks.
- Lots of professional keyboards do. That would be considered a must-have staple sound. On a home-keyboard (the kind with built-in speakers) though, probably not.
- Q: I had a usb keyboard, but it has been damaged. Still usable, but a pain. I had a ps/2 keyboard lying around, however my computer won't recognize it. I don't have drivers, and have had no luck finding any. My comp is a Dell Inspiron running Windows XP SP3. The keyboard is a GE Smart Keyboard model 97764. Thank you.

- Q: I came back from one of my classes and some buttons on my keyboard will not work. They will work, however, when adjacent keys are taken outbut again this only works for some keys. I have not dropped my laptop a significant number of times nor have I gotten fluid or other foreign objects between the keys. Oh, it's a Toshiba Satelite C650DAnd yes, I'm using a wireless keyboard to type this. Even though, I have a wireless keyboard, I do not want to bring the keyboard and laptop to my classes.
- The keyboard itself can be bad, or it could be unplugged internally. There is a flat ribbon under the keyboard that attaches to the motherboard. If that is loose the keyboard will not work. To me it sounds like the keyboard is bad though. I'd recommend having the keyboard replaced, or simply using a USB keyboard (or the wireless one you are using now). Keyboards are about $20 on OKorder and the only tool you need to replace it is a Philips screwdriver. If you take it to a shop, expect to pay around $65 (more or less) to have it replaced by a pro.
