- Yes. You can also use PS/2 keyboard and mice if you use a PS/2 to USB converter (I do so on my green tower G3 and a graphite G4, though my machines are running PPC Gentoo Linux). If you're using OSX on it, when you plug in your keyboard, it should ask you to hit the keys next to the SHIFT keys, and then you're set. If you're using OS9 (or earlier), I don't know what will happen.

- You could try a keyboard vacuum, those a pretty good but I think the compressed air would be best because it does actually a pretty good job of getting the dirt out of the keyboard.

- Q:I have a lenovo ideapad Y580, the other day I say smudges on some of the keyboard's keys so I took a cloth and cleaned them but as I was rubbing the key with the cloth I was holding down on the button. Does this damage the keyboard? I'm worried if pressing the key too hard while rubbing it with a cloth might eventually damage the key or even chip the key out.
