- Q: when im parked on a flat surface my tires sit perfectly straight and look completely normal, then when i park on a small incline the tires and wheels spread t outward really bad, it turns and drives fine, it has 35 inch tires and 16.5 wheels and ive heard 4wd can cause it to do that but if anyone can give me some info thatd be AMAZING..lol-thanks

- Q: My Escape started making a noise at about 35,000 miles. At the time the dealership said it was the tires. I replaced the tires. The noise did not change at all and now has progressively worsened and now they are telling me the right, left AND center wheel bearings need to be replaced (at my expense since now the car has 42,000 miles). They did say the bearings are still sealed and there is no water damage and no other obvious damage. I think they must be defective and Ford should replace them as from what I understand it would be very unlikely for all 3 to just go out at 35,000 miles. I'd like to know if Ford has addressed this problem for anyone else and also if anyone has any ideas on how to make Ford provide the parts and repairs at no cost to me.

- Q: my home ac unit is blowing warm so had a company come out and look at it. they said the condenser fan motor bearings were shot. I declined replacement but after he left I went on the roof to check it myself but did not notice any looseness or grinding when i spun the blades. How would tech know? would this cause it to blow warm it is a heat pump rooftop unit.
- best way to check bearing is to take the condenser fan motor (with power off and double checked with a meeter) have the moror sitting with shaft up. hold the shaft and move it side to side. it wont be visible usually but if you feel any give in the shaft then the bearings are bad. However many use the word bearing loosely as many condenser fans use sleeves instead of bearings (cost of manufacturing). The smallest ever so slightly feel of play can show warn or bad bearings or sleeves. I have seen condenser fan motor with bad bearings that passed this test and ran normally until they got hot just as I would about give up on it and when they got hot they your start to slow down or sequel. With most of the motors now days it better to replace the whole motor than just the bearings. If you do not trust your tech then call somebody else. I recommend having a N.A.T.E certified technician as they have higher certifications. also when you call the company ask if their techs are paid hourly, commission or piece rate. many HVAC company's now days are paying their employees on piece rate which means the more parts they change the more they get paid.

- exhaust bearings dont exist, neither does blinker fluid,exhaust samples,or chemlights that use batteries. also be on the look out for a box of ground guides, boxes of grid squares,bags of compressed air, and prop wash ( technically prop wash does exist, but its the air from the prop of a plane,not a cleaning product)

- This depends on the lubrication, lubricating oil viscosity, pressure is different, allowing the speed is also different

- ABSOLUTELY! I've been ridin' The Wave for a couple of years now, and I def switched over to better bearings once I was ready. You def want to make sure that you have mastered ridin' the board before you make the switch. I'm pretty sure that Street Surfing is going to start making upgrades available, but until then, go for it. Just be ready for the faster speed. If you haven't checked out their website I'd give it a look, some cool vids/pics there, even some 'how to' vids if you're looking for some tricks to do ( THEWAVE.COM ). Hope that helps you out, the answer to your question is YES! Upgrading the bearings is something that anyone can do to their wave board, I would actually suggest it for more experienced riders.
