- Q: having trouble wont go on properly
- I don't think the goose-neck bearings are bad, I think all it needed was lubed and tightened up. but if you wanta spend ur money on bearings you never needed in the first place, or if you listened to a liar motorcycle dealer that told you you needed them, only because he wants to make money by selling you new bearings then there's nothing i can do. just remind me to never buy a used bike from you I hate motorcycle dealers, OOOOOO I HATE THEM AGGGHHHHHHH HATE THEM soooo bad!

- I have skated may bearings in my day and by the far the most bang for your buck is bone swiss chinese reds. They're super fast, durable and easy to clean I have had the pair I am using now for over a year and a half and I skate at least 3 times a week. The best part is they are only about 20 bucks.

- Well u probably want them so they move a little man. Because ur others moved a little and i skateboard not longboard but i think bearings are so tight inside the wheel that u should put them so they move a little

- Get some bones bearing lube. Take the sheilds off the bearing if they have rubber sheilds you can just use a pin or something small. If they have metal sheilds dont try to take them off just wash them from the side without the sheild. Wash the bearings out with water and spin them a bit while you wash them. After that get a cup put some water in it and put any kind of cleaner in it and swish it around a bit then leave them soaking in it for like 10 minutes. After your take them out of the cleaner wash them in water one more time get all the cleaner out then leave them to dry 100%. After that put 1 or 2 drops of bearing lube in each bearing and put the sheild back on and your ready to go.

- One way bearing is a type of bearing that can only be turned in one direction and locked in another direction.The metal shell of the one-way bearing, contains a lot of rollers (or needle ball), and the rolling block (acupoints) shape so that it can only roll in one direction, (because the installation direction of the rolling direction opposite spring, so spring is compressed). In another direction when the rolling direction and spring mounting same direction, not to cause the compression spring, up roller, roller to produce a lot of resistance in between the inner shell and outer shell (the so-called "one-way"), stop rolling bearing.

- DO NOT listen to the other guy. Reds are known for being the best performing bearings in skateboarding and they are very inexpensive. I mean sure if you spent like $50+ on bearings you might get slightly better then Reds but really it's not worth it. reds are great. i've skated other bearings, always go back to reds. ask anyone at a local park

- They don't, they are packed with grease before they are assembled together. That's all the grease they get for its lifetime!!!! That's why you don't hold high pressure washer hoses up against them, you can force water into them cause them to fail quicker

- first of all NEVER use things like hyd. peroxide or sewing machine lube or WD-40. it clots up, collects more dirt and actually can cause more friction between the ball bearings and the shell. and absoloutly never use water, unless you want rusted shackles. only use actual skateboard lubricants, top kind out there right now is Speadcream by Bones.
- Q: So i have some dirty bearings and im supposed going skating tomorrow and i wanted to know if using ANDIS Clipper Lube/Oil could clean or damage my bearings. PLEASE HELP.
- hi BH id say it be ok oils oil right ? why not use WD40 ? you really want a thin oil to penetrate the bearings - to clean them AND lubricate them wd does this.
