Candle wax is a oily type stain so a degreaser is cruicial. The big caution is not to use a product so strong it takes color out of the carpet that is supposed to be there. I have never had Dissolve-it or Simple Green harm anything I've used them on. Good luck!

They might or might not have every colour in stock but you can look at their samples. If you mean an area rug, it will be really hard to find. I looked for a teal-tone area rug for a couple of years until I found one at Ikea. You can have carpet off a roll cut to size and bound on the edges, too, for an area rug.

If so, you can't repair those fibers, but you can fix the problem with a Carpet Transplant: 1. Cut the marked area out using a razor knife or a single-edged razor blade. Be careful to cut only the carpet, not the padding under it. You can buy either of these products at most hardware stores. 2. Cut a piece of replacement carpet from a place no one will ever notice, like from inside a closet. 3. Put the RUINED piece on a piece of paper and trace around it. This will be your template for the new piece. Cut this out and use it as a pattern. You want an exact match in shape. 4. Glue the replacement piece of carpet in place using waterproof glue. Attach it to the padding underneath. Or you can sew it into place by sewing it to the existing carpet. (You will need a curved needle if you sew it in place.) The repair should be invisible when you're done. -
