Q:How to remove the coffee stains and coke stains on the carpet?
The newly created spots are the easiest to clean. Not wet) or napkins press firmly on the spot for several minutes. So, most of the liquid is absorbed into the towels or napkins, spots are basically in dry condition. Then, sprinkle dry clean powder and abstergent in the area polluted by spots, use a soft brush to brush back and forth. If the spots have been removed, absorbing dust is ok. If there is a little traces, sprinkle the dry clean powder once again, press on the spot by hand lightly, like this, the effect will be more prominent. Finally, absorb dust. As for parched spots, you can use a strong detergent, dip detergent on the towel, then scrub the spots from different directions. Most of the spots on the carpet will be transferred to the towel Use a dry towel to wipe the spots again to make the surface dry Then, sprinkle some dry cleaning powder, use hand brush to clean spots from all directions. Generally speaking, this method can be used to clean out a lot of parched spots.
Q:Does anyone know anything about Indo Bijar rugs. I bought a 6x9 Indo Bijar rug today for next to nothing and am curious about its value. It has a tag on it from a profesional rug repair shop in Dallas ( the tag just says indo bijar 6x9 clean and replace fringe) It's in great shape and was hoping to resell at our yardsale but not sure about the value. I found two similar rugs on Craigs list, one was $4,000 and the other was for $600.
Here okorder /
Q:I have a brown sofa, light oak floor, blue floral accented curtains and sea foam walls, white ceiling, with creamy/ white trim. I have no idea what i should do i have a burgundy and cream shag rug that's kinda a woven pattern that i think looks good but i don't have a very good eye for matching colors.
Beige, try it, I just bought one for my room.
Q:how do you remove tabasco from carpet ?
Believe it or not... Oxy Clean (Powder Form). BEFORE YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS, TEST A SMALL SPOT IN A CLOSET TO MAKE SURE THE COLOR IS NOT AFFECTED IN YOUR CARPETING (you did not mention what color your carpet was). Use a small bowl with about 1/2 scoop and cold water in the bowl. Keep mixing until it is dissolved. Actually pour enough on the stain to actually soak it and rub lightly with a toothbrush. Leave it alone for about 1 hour. After that, start blotting it up with paper towels. Repeat if necessary. PS: My home is carpeted throughout with white carpet, so I have had some experience with stains.
Q:Hello,This used to be one of my mothers all time favorites, and i cannot find them anywhere.I have never been to an arts and crafts store and i am not really sure where to look in the store for them. Do they still sell hook rugs? What about those round things where the fabric is clamped down around the circle thing, do you know what am speaking about? I'm sorry if am confusing you but i don'know what there called and neither does she. If anyone knows, please tell me. Thank you all. You are all very kind.
I okorder . They both also sell kits. Best of luck.
Q:I have a medium blue area rug currently and i want to dye it to be a spring green color. Getting a professional or getting a new carpet is pretty much out of the question. I've heard that you could bleach it first then dye it? Whats the best way for me to go about this?
That okorder . If you need immediate assistance or would like to speak with a Phoenix Brands LLC Representative, call 866-794-0800, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EASTERN TIME. You can also look in the phone book for carpet people and see if any list recoloring.
Q:For the record, I didn't want this rug...I told my husband anything that says quot;do not add waterquot; was a bad idea with young kids in the house....but here we are....So I know you're not supposed to use water on sisal (natural fiber/grass) rugs, but merely quot;blottingquot; as per the directions does not leave me with a clean, sanatized feeling. I generally use water and hydrogen peroxide to clean my carpets (I avoid chemical cleaners whenever I can), but how can I at least freshen up the area until enough time has passed that I'm not screaming quot;don't sit/crawl there!quot; Is baking soda an option?
My only suggestion - make your husband responsible for this problem immediately, and walk away. You did not want the rug for just this reason, and any move for you to take responsibility means you buy into the idea that this was an appropriate purchase. Stick to your guns, call him or text him and let him know his fabulous rug has experienced just the thing you knew would happen, and just drop it in his lap. The minute he brought it into the house, he took responsibility for whatever happened next- so don't do it for him. At all. This isn't just about the rug, of course- it's about power and who makes the decisions. If he wants to make them, it's up to him to do whatever it takes to follow through. Not your job, and it wasn't a joint decision made with your input. Call him, let him know he has a problem, and walk away. Not one paper towel- I'm not kidding. Or you will own the #$% rug and the blame for the spot your cleaning efforts make.
Q:i have a shag rug in my living room and my puppy has urinated on it. My husband has done everything under the sun to get the smell out. Is there a certain way to clean the rug, a gentle way? I dont want to ruin it or have it come apart. So any help would be greatly appriciate it!!! Thanks!
Hand Tufted rugs are hand made by skilled artisans. Weavers loop wool through a primary backing. A natural latex adhesive is then applied to the back of the rug to secure the wool loops, and a secondary coating is added for finishing. Although the process of manufacturing Hand Tufted rugs is shorter than that of a Hand Knotted rug, each rug remains a unique, handmade work of art.
Q:If my room is 18x19 feet and the carpet cost is $27.77 per square yard and the installation coat is $ 175.00 . How much would it cost to install the carpet ??????
multiply 18x19 =342 sq'. Then divide that by 9 (the number of sq' in a sq' yard) =38 yards. 38 x $27.77= $1055.26. + $175.00 =1230.26 The carpet folks may say you need a bit more carpet depending on which direction they can run it in the room, matching carpet patterns, and width of carpeting, etc.
