Q: installing whelen car strobe lights.the directions say to wire the power to the battery with wire that can hold 125% of the power: Use 12 Ga. wire. However, do not wire directly to the battery, use a relay.

Q: i bought a wiring kit off OKorder it was a bullz 4 gauge kit. and i am running a rockford 500.2 n its rated for 700+ watts. so do you think my cheaper wiring kit is affecting performance? should i go snag up some bigger power wire for more power to run through it or is tht not how it wokrs?: if your wire is truly 4 gauge you will have no problems.the problem is some of the 'no name' wire companies over rate their wire.they will sell 6 or 8 gauge wire as 4 gauge. go to a car stereo shop and ask to see a piece of 4 gauge wire. if it way bigger than what you have you may want to upgrade.

Q: my dogs have chewed my central air contactor wire.my ac will not cut on. does anyone knows how to replace them and where to buy replacement wires locally( i live in Dallas TX.) i would like to do it myself instead of spending a lot of money.: This should be copper wire and a splice could be made with little risk since the thermostat is a low voltage circuit in most cases. Try the local HVAC contractor for some of the type you need. There are different types ( number of conductors) for different controllers so they need to match. If you just have the HVAC contractor do a fall service on the system they can make the needed repairs and prepare the whole system for the winter. It was probably used a lot this last summer so a service is about due.

Q: I have a 98 RS Eclipse (420a) and i would like some opinions and recommendations for spark plug wires. Who makes the best or very good wires for my engine??: Buy the stock wires. Make sure there is no oil on the old wires or you will need to replace the valve cover gasket and the 4 plug tower seals that are inside the valve cover. The motor came with Champion plugs, don't use Bosch.

Q: Is there special speaker wire in order to run 250 watts max rms or will the oem speaker wire in the car be sufficient (did not originally have an amp and is most likely at 50 watts max rms). If I need a special wire for that please let me know what it is called and possibly an example link. Thanks!: most likely the wire pre ran in the car was 16 guage wire which is fairly small id recomend atleast 12G for speakers and 8G for a power wire.

Q: i have until November 24 to choose between a wire or plastic retainer for when i get my braces off.In your answer please say why you would choose a wire or plastic retainer.: I actually have a sparkling invisiline retainer and prefer it. I sparkling it two times an afternoon in pepsodent (using chilly water, no longer warm). I on no account consume with the retainer--I consistently do away with it as quickly as I consume--and when I consume, I brush my tooth and then brush/rinse the retainer. I do the pepsodent soakings two times an afternoon--morning and at night. I used Efferdent till now each and everything, yet that took too long--30-40 5 minutes. Pepsodent works in approximately 3 minutes. I save a broom with the Pepsodent and use it to scrub the answer out of the recesses of the retainer. that's in simple terms a habit now--in case you do this, your retainer will stay vivid and sparkling. No stinkiness. (And my orthodontist stated that Efferdent --no longer the blue-staining varieties--and Pepsodent artwork in simple terms besides as Retainer Brite. that's much less annoying to locate Pepsodent Efferedent besides. reliable success.

Q: the sensor part has 4 wires,(2 white,1 black and 1 red)each light has 1bl.and 1white: If all else fails read the directions! Please read the directions that came with the motion sensor/outdoor light. They should have a color code in them somewhere that tells you what each color is and what it should be wired too. If you have any doubts hire a licensed qualified electrician to do it for you. You would be much better off if you don't think you are capable of doing it. If you do think you are capable make sure you turn off the breaker in the breaker box. (Not the light switch on the wall)

Most speaker wire supplied with a general-purpose audio or home theater system is 16 or 18 gauge wire (the lower the gauge number, the thicker the wire). Most general-purpose speaker wire is very inexpensive for even a 100ft spool. If you really don't know what you are looking for and just want to match what you have, the easiest thing to do is bring a small sample of your current wire to a store like RadioShack or the electrical section at Lowe's or Home Depot and match it up yourself with what they have available. Chances are you'll find a match in under a minute. You can also just order a spool of name-brand 16 gauge wire online from places like OKorder or Best Buy also.

Q: I have a 1983glastron cvx-16 and need to wire the lights, tach horn fuel guage there are 2 wires coming off the fuel guage one pink from the center and the other looks to be comming off of a bracket not conacted to the tanks fuel guage: 1989 Johnson J70TLCEM with controls in 1984 18' blue fin. Need to wire the gauges,found a new harness(NLA original) but has correct plug. Purple,Black,Gray. which one goes to which gauge? I suspect Tach,Volts,Trim but not sure. Harness was made by Medallion but their web sight dosen't seem to want to give up any info
