Q: i have 2 audiobahn 12s and an adiobahn amp in my 2000 malibu...1. the thin blue wire that comes from the amp to the stereo is connected to an orange wire behing the (stock) stero, and when i turn off the car the amp stays on. does anyone know which wire to connect the blue wire to, so the amp turns off with my radio or when i turn off the key.2. only one of my 12s is hitting, i think ther might be a wire connected wrong behind the stero. since i have a stock stereo and i have a converter hooked up, because it had no rca inputs on it. its not the speaker or the rca wire itself, because when i connect it with a y cable to the amp one or the other will work...i would appreciate it if someone could help.: the present passing during the wires will reason the wires to warmth up if no longer sufficient guage. think of of the masses of thousands of little electrons pushing and shoving back and forth, all this action reasons friction on a molecular point and of course all of us be attentive to friction equals warmth. The battery wire should have voltage at all times, and the remote wire will have voltage when the radio is on. The ground wire should never show voltage.

Q: The output part of wire plastic and part of wire broken, and the connection lost sometimes, some taps used to wrap up but the connection is still not good.How to fix it permanently?: Only try to fix it if it is on the lptop side, DON't play with A/C power unless you're qualified. If it is on the safe voltage side you could cut the wire, strip back the wires about 1cm, and twist them together, then solder the wires. Before you join them slide a small piece of heatshrink over one side of it, then after joining and soldering the wires wrap a small amount of electrical tape around the bare wires then slide the heatshrink over it all and heat it up to enclose it all, Fixed ! Q: The light fitting I bought has 1x Red Wire (A) 1x Green Wire (E) and 1x Blue Wire (N)...: In the uk red was live and black was neutral, is this part of multiple wall lights ? then it should be only one red is live, the other may go to another light fitting. The light fitting would possibly be red=live, blue=neutral and green is earth, I say possibly because it is a mix of old colours and new. There should be installation instructions with it. Start by connecting one red to the light fitting red and the black to the blue connect the earth, make the other red safe and switch on. If that doesn't work change the wall red to the other and try again. If everything is working and no other lights are not working then make good and leave as is, otherwise you may need to connect all reds together for the other light to work. You may be able to identify the live red if it is a single with grey insulation cable.

Q: I know the ground wire takes unused electricity to the ground but what is the purpose of the neutral wire?: The neutral returns unused electricity back to the source where as the ground provides a pathway for an electrical short to return back to the panel and then to an earth ground.
