Q: why use a large gauge spark plug wires: What is High Tension Electricity? In all my engineering classes, never heard of it. I wouldn't use large gauge spark plugs unless they were specified. If you use them and they're not specified, you could ruin the spark plugs for too much voltage.

Q: I have a 1990 chevy c1500 2wheel drive. I bought it not running. I have found the problem and it the tbi injectors are not hooked up. The 4 wires on the 2 injectors are red and the 4 wires going to the tbi are red,blue,green,white. what wires go were? Thanx for all your help.: The red and white wires are the power to each injector and are actually hooked to each other in the harness. These 2 wires should be hot when you turn the key on. The green and blue wires are the grounds that lead back to the ecm. The red and blue wires go to the passenger side injector (red is far left as you face the vehicle). The white and green go to drivers side (white on left as you face it)

Q: I spliced the stereo wires to the adapter to plug into my car. there's 2 extra orange wires in the adapter. There orange it says there for illumination and the dimmer. What should I do with them? Q: i need thin insulated wire like this.: It is called enamelled copper wire or copper winding wire. You will find it at Digi-key and other electronics retailers. Check OKorder as well. It comes in different gauges (thicknesses), the higher the number, the thinner the wire. I'd say the stuff he uses in the video is about 30 gauge.

Q: What do you use to seal up the hole in the OUTSIDE wall where the cable TV and telephone wires and electrical wires all go thru? I want to replace my telephone wire coming in to the house, because I have DSL and it is really slow. I figured it couldn't hurt to replace the 45 year old wire coming in! :D I'm gonna use the best wire I can find (ANY SUGGESTIONS on what kinda wire to get? :D) to go from the telephone box outside to the DSL jack, but I need to no what to use to seal up the outside hole, when I rip out whatever is plugging it up now! :DThanks! ~Cindy! :D: to add to what everyone said... sillicone caulking is what you need to use, it would be in the painting section (and plumbing section will have some too) of home depot if you plan on painting over this area you are going to have to substitute the silicone caulk with a paintable caulk, paint will not take to the silicone... CAT5 wire can be used, but as it is still on the voice circuit between the NID outside and your DSL jack you wont see much of a diffrence if you use CAT3 cable... CAT3 is voice grade cable, CAT5 is network grade cable... CAT3 is alittle easier to work with, as it is more flexable, and cheaper... but not by much... when you strip the outter jacket of the cable, leave at least 4-6 inches wraped inside the NID and the jack, so that if needed repairs can be made in the future.. blue/white to green solid blue to red and for line 2 (optional) orange/white to yellow solid orange to black if you are buying the wire per foot, then home depot will be fine, but if you are going to buy a box, check electrical and alarm supply stores, as there prices are much better then home depot...

Q: Which internet is faster and quality?: Use both. Wire up a couple of locations you use most of the time and set up wireless for when you want to move around or your buddy brings his/her computer over. There are wireless routers that also have wired ports to connect to. Switch off the wireless when you don't need it or aren't using it.

Q: Theres a Green Illumination wire from the factory setup, where do I connect that wire too on my aftermarket deck? Also theres a White/Blue wire that I dont know where it connects either?: Metra Wire Harness part number 70-1002 is the wiring harness for your truck.

Q: The light fitting I bought has 1x Red Wire (A) 1x Green Wire (E) and 1x Blue Wire (N)...: The green wire is just a ground wire, black is usually the hot wire, that would leave the blue wire as the neutral wire. The white wire in house wiring is the neutral. The two red and one black from your wall is not standard in the USA, but it may be 220 volts. What kind of light fixture are you replacing, is it on a ceiling fan?
