Specification of High Quality Air Filter for BMW made from Korean Made Filter Paper:

PU air filter

The PU air filters are produced by domestic or importing pure wood OARS filter paper as the major filter medium. Fluid sealant has good elasticity, tensile strength(pull ≥ 88N, elongation ≥230%). Filters are able to be suitable for different climates, heat-resistant -30℃ - 120℃

PP air filter

The PP air filters adopt domestic macromolecule composite non-woven filter material, as the main products of above 98% efficiency, fluid sealant has good elasticity. Filters are suitable for different climate condition, heat-resistant -30℃ - 120℃

Green air filter

Green air filters are environmentally protected, which are made by domestic macromolecule composite nonnon-woven filter material. All filters are high efficiency filtration effect (≥99%) and heat-resistant -30-120 centigrade.

Q: I was wondering what are good air intake systems that I can put on my truck and it will give it power and save some gas. I would like to know the brand and what kind.
KN is an excellent choice, but you are not going to get any appreciable change in horsepower or gas mileage with just the cold air intake system. To really improve anything, you have to improve the entire induction and exhaust system. Reducing the back pressure on the exhaust system in tandem with improving the amount of air allowed to flow to the intake is really the only way. I don't want to deter you from going down that path, just trying to keep you expectations in line with reality. The claims for 10% horsepower increases with just a CAI system are for the most part statistical anomalies.
Q: Im having trouble finding one. Anyone know where i could get one? All i can find is parts for 05-06 and for SS
if you bought from a dealer that's a sticker test fail so take it back and get it fixed for free might just be a fuse but you can get a ticket for faulty wipers or worse if it's raining (lemon law)
Q: im thinking of buying a cold air intake for my 2000 celica gt, but i notice there are these two types of cold air intake, one is a short air intake (looks like a short letter U) and the other is somewhat a long air intake (it goes downwards), so my question is which one is better or are they the same?
short ram is cheaper but still gives your car hot air from the engine bay cold air is more expensive but it relocates your air filter so that it is getting cold or fresh air your engine will run smoother with the cold air as opposed to the warm in short they both improve airflow but a cold air is better my friend has an injen cold air intake on her 03 celica gt and she likes it but i recomend an AEM cold air intake and spend the extra $50 and buy a kn air filter for it thats what i did for my 350z and it sounds great
Q: If you install a cold air (high flow) air intake inside the passenger cabin (under dashboard passenger footwell) with tubing into the engine bay and carb. will this make an efficient intake system? Firstly the intake air will be much cleaner and colder and will prevent hydrolock when driving in the rain. It‘s something similar to a 4X4 snorkel. Has this been done?
WowI would think right off the line you would get a boost from the cold air (assuming you turned the A/C off.) I wouldn't suggest this though because it would be extremely noisy and you would need to keep your windows down.
Q: what could happen ? i mean what does moisture in the intake do?
Properly designed cold air intake located above bumper level should be able to deter the ingress of rain drops into the engine Moisture not water is not a problem with cold air intake (at least not with my car cold air intake) However, if located at the undercarriage, leaves can be sucked in to stall the engine, together with sand
Q: alright so i installed an aftermarket air intake, and managed to remove all of the stock one except the air boot, now it‘s rattling around and i either have to take it out, or have it fall out. any help is greatly appretiated and links for stepsv on how to do this are appretiated even more. The car is a 1999 acura integra gs
i don't know about the integra but there should be at least 3 bolts at the bottom or around the box if you went with bigger tubes u need to make sure that there is enough pressure cuz the intake will not work but indeed make the car run like ****. u will need to reset the ECU control due to more air going into the intake manifold/motor
Q: I am buying a 2004 civic lx/ex very soon.I dont want to rice it up very much, but i want it to perform well and look nice.i was wondering how much a cold air intake (KM or AEM or something close) would cost AND the installation. i like cars, but really dont have the time to install the parts myself. And also, is there an easy way to get a deeper sound from the exhaust without it being heard miles away? like a nice sound that isnt too loud.sorry for being a noob, but help is needed.thanks.- i will choose the best answer within 3 days.
That would depend on how the warranty is worded. Normally, warranties for tires that you pay extra for are for the vehicle that they were installed on.
Q: 2006 accord v6 Rand air intake?
lol, please do not buy that eBay turd of an intake. And stop looking for a short-ram intake, those cause power losses and based on the dyno's I've done I've found the power losses to be a lot more common in newer cars like yours. Take for example, I dyno'd a 2008 Honda Civic Si (all stock except exhaust). Runs were done with both a short-ram intake and a cold air intake. The short-ram provided no gains but a mild loss of 3-4hp. As the runs continued and heat began to settle in, the engine ended up losing a whopping 14-16whp. When we switched to the cold air we actually gained 3-4whp over stock and those numbers stayed the same through the rest of the runs. So from my experience should you get a short-ram intake? Hell no. Should you get a cold air? Sure if you don't mind spending the money for a small 3-4whp gain - maybe you want the cool intake sound, idk. It's hard to choose intakes these days for new cars. With auto manufacturers striving so much to improve performance and boast about MPG numbers they spend a lot of time researching and developing the parts for their engine. A lot of intakes these days are in-tune with the engine so often adding an aftermarket intake throws that tune off and can result in horsepower losses. Airflow is critical to engine performance, if you do anything to change it without taking into account all the factors that play in you will see power losses. So IMO: Leave the intake completely stock (maybe throw in a high flow KN filter?) or dish out the money for a good reliable cold air intake from a brand like AEM, Injen, BBK, etc. who put the research and time into their products.
Q: I was looking at cold air intakes online. I found some generic brands on eBay for about $90 and then KN or Injen for +$250. So long as the tube flows nicely back to the engine, does it make much of a difference? I know the filter itself does, so would even just purchasing the generic CAI for $90 and a $40 KN air filter be better? Of even if the stock intake flows nicely, just switch out to a KN filter?
I suggest to buy every brand you can find. They are made specifically for clueless people like you.
Q: i heard around that short ram intake is different than cold air intake depending on if you have a manual or automatic i have automatic so which would be better?
your not gettting 5 hp from a cold air intake alone, its 0-3pushing it. both are over priced garbage, a simple kn air filter does the exact same thing, forces air into the intake.
