- I once bought a sutured carpet, sutured piece by piece, then paste plastic gummed paper on the joints preventing the joints from being scratched or brought back, and then the lay carpet flat, suture seams with dense villi in curved needle. But I now feel that the carpet is not very good, although relatively small, but very beautiful. I prefer the floor, because the carpet is dirty, bacteria will be more too.

Anyways, we started looking at area rugs but for the sizes we would need to cover most of the rooms we are only finding ones that cost like $1,000 - and we can't afford that - and thats at places like kohls and target, places I thought would be cheap. - A few years ago, (in her stall overnight) my horse has managed to take her blanket off and it was laying on the ground with all of the buckles, 2 criss-cross surcingles 2 elastic legs straps still buckled/ in tact. The blanket fit her good wasn't too loose. I still wonder how she did that...LOL. Magic mare? Now I always buy closed front blankets/rugs without any buckles (need to put over the horses head) haven't had any problems.

- There are a few types out there ,but the one I m familar with is calles Rug Hold.. It s a thin rubberymat you put under your rugs to hold them down and wont react w/ your vinyl like the backing is know to your vinyl.. Ashphalt drives are a big problem (tracking in the oils) because the petroleum based products react w/ each other and causes the yellow stains you see.. Check any product like this and get the 1 for your needs.. They make them for wood and carpet etc The nice thing is they can be tossed in washer when they do lose tackeyness and be renewedGL

- nail polish remover will just eat it up , it melts I just found this out the hard way I finally just took little scissors and cut the carpet pile down. good luck
- Q:is it easier to vacuum the industrial carpet than regular carpet. I plan to replace my regular carpet with industrail, because it is hard to push the vacuum and we have lots of dust. thanks.
- I had industrial carpet (white) in my home and loved it. It was very thick and plush and cleaning was no problem and vacuuming was very easy. I would definitely recommend it. But the best is hardwood floors. Industrial carpeting is expensive and I can get bamboo (50 year guarantee) for $2.12 a square foot at Costco. Bamboo is a sustainable resource, also. I love it and I have six animals in the house.

- Depending on what kind of carpet it is (wool, polypropolene etc.) I would take a stiff brush and try to get the dirt out of the carpet. first and then vacuum again. I have a lightweight carpet cleaner. After using a still brush I use the carpet cleaner/vacuum. I put white vinegar and warm water in the resevoir and use that to clean any remaining stains. So far that has worked for everything my cat has done to my rugs. It sometimes takes 2 rounds with the vinegar but that's all I use.
