- Q: I have this sony x plod headunit that i want to install.unfortunetely i do not know the wiring on it. i could find out as i go along which wires go to which speakers... but which two wires are the POWER wires?so i attached pictures but the basic layout is on the left side there are 4 sets of two wires (im assuming they pair up vertically)on the right side there is a long black wire with a metal hook on the end.
- The Grand Prix and the Camaro use an identical production unit radio plug, so which you're sturdy to circulate with none better adapters. If the GTP replace into geared up with a Bose sound gadget, however, the pinnacle unit won't paintings in a motor vehicle without Bose.
- Q: Hello, I have a 4 year old Trane XR12 unit. Recently the compressor fan is noisy, and now stops when when under power after 5-10 min. The main fuses and breakers are fine, the fan spins freely when turned, the contactor pulls in fine, the dual capacitor checks out. But, the wiring of the capacitor does not match wire diagrams. Could this have caused the fan motor to prematurely fail?..............................Terminal: C red wire, FAN brown wire, HERM has both orange and purple. Schematic shows the purple wire should be with red wire on common C. The purple also leads to fan.
- Hi, I looked at the schematic on-line. If you still have the original fan motor in the unit then you are correct. The center terminal on the capacitor should have the red wire from the T1 terminal of the contactor, the red wire from the compressor, and the purple wire from the fan. The FAN terminal should have the brown wire from the fan. The HERM terminal should have the orange wire from the compressor. The black wire from the fan and the black/blue wire from the compressor should lead back to the T2 terminal of the contactor. Again, that is if the motor is the original motor. If it was replaced at some point in time, the wiring colors can change from manufacturer to manufacturer, in which case it's possible that the new motor is wired correctly. There should be a diagram on the motor to show you the correct wiring configuration.
- Q: does anyone have a wiring diagram for a rccb or can you explain how to wire one up . as an rcd has a wiring for connecting to earth but an rccb does not have that.
- Assuming the lights are wire in a loop system, and not from a junction box. You'll need a three core and earth cable from the lamp or first lamp to the bathroom fan, or two twin and earth cable will do. Because you need a live feed and a switched wire, as well as the neutral to the fan. If it's wired from a junction box just take the three core and earth from the J' box to the fan. I trust the spot lights are specifically designed for bathroom use. Can't actually draw a diagram on here but hope this helps.
- Q: i want electrical symbol used in house wiring
- The electrical symbol for what? Different devices and types of devices have different symbols. Also, each architectural firm uses a slightly different set of symbols so that a particular symbol on one set of plans will mean one thing, but mean something else on a different set of plans by a different firm. An UGLY's Book will give you some of the more common electrical symbols.
- Q: I have a 3 wire source I want to connect it to a switch on/off and then make it 2 wire to the light
- If you have black red and white, it could be wired for a three way switch, best to call an electrician as this is too complicated to write the testing procedures. If the wires are black white green more than likely the green is ground. Simple test with power on black to white 110v, black to green 110v, white to green 0v. If this is the case, ground the switch using the green wire to the ground terminal on the switch, whites from the power source is connected to white going to light using a wire nut or other approved method, both blacks are connected to the two brass terminal screws on the switch, it does not matter which terminals you use, just make sure when you are installing the switch back into the work box that off is down. Good luck and if you are in any way unsure call a licensed electrician, they'll only charge a service fee plus materials for a job that small.
- Q: Cant find were to tap the wiring for the puddle lights. Can some one please help!
- i in my opinion only offered a Silverado 1500 on Friday, and that i honestly like it! i appreciate the OnStar, and the XM radio good factors. also, i imagine that's in user-friendly words a extra effective searching truck. As for the experience, that's an truly tender experience, like a Cadillac. mutually, its were given extremely some capacity in the back of it. The warranties are large too. It even comes with a 6 365 days assure on rust! i might want to flow with the Silverado for constructive!
- Q: plzzz let me knw tis !! GRADE 10 PHYSICS- importance of live wires neutral wires !!!!!!!!!!
- These two wires provide the voltage difference (called potential difference) that is responsible for driving the current through an appliance. Live and neutral are terms most commonly use with mains electrical supply .. they are equivalent to + (live) and - used with batteries and other DC sources. The live wire is at the higher voltage (most dangerous) and the neutral is usually close to ground voltage (0 V). Both wires together form the complete circuit required for the current .. from the supply (through the live wire) to the appliance and back to the supply (through the neutral wire). In a mains circuit a switch is always connected into the live wire so that the high voltage is disconnected from the appliance. A switch connected in the neutral wire prevents the appliance from working (so it appears to be off) because there is a break in the circuit .. but the high voltage is still connected to the appliance which may be dangerous. For the greatest safety a switch should disconnect both live and neutral wires at the same time.
- Q: i've got a GOTOH humbucker pick up and its only got a white and a bare wire. can someone tell me how to wire it or how it works. i'm making my own guitar and i need help with the wiring.
- The bare wire is usually ground. Solder that to the ground wire that you should have wired to the bridge, and also to the sleeve connection on the output jack. The insulated wire carries the signal. Depending on the configuration you are running, whether it be a single pickup, two pickups, and global controls or dedicated controls, this can go in different places. Let's say, hypothetically, that you are using a single pickup. Then, the signal wire would go straight to the Volume pot. The tone pot would be an offshoot of the volume, which tapers the high end. There are multiple ways to wire a tone pot, should you install one, and the wiper of the volume pot goes to the tip connection of the output jack. For more information, look at some pickup wiring guides. Seymour Duncan has a lot of good ones, if you go on their site and search.
- Q: Their is a Shortage in the wire inside the actuall headphones, I was wondering if I could purchase a beats studio wire to rewire them.
- Any wire about the same size as the original wire will work. Only if a special connector is involved would there be any reason to replace the wiring with a manufacturer-supplied part.
