- Q: Which is the better buy?Which will last longer on the skin?Is it whether its pressed or loose or just the way you apply it that determines how long it will last on your skin?please help(:
- Pressed powder is easier to apply and has less fall out, but loose powder in my opinion just feels better covers more over liquid foundation. The way you apply it doesn't matter as much as how much you apply and what brush you're using. A fine Kabuki brush or powder brush would cover more versus...say a stippling brush. If you want your powder to last longer, try using a base or a face primer before applying the powder.
- Q: what is a soldier allowed to do or say when they are approach by the press and how do they refer to?
- The basic guidlines have usually been that no soldier (or any military person for that matter) is allowed to discuss things with the press unless they have been given specific permission to do so. Usually, all inquiries by the press are to be directed to the authorised public affairs officer or civilian liaison officer. Most often, permission is not given unless there is a specific public affairs event happening such as soldiers being used to help in a search rescue operation with the local police, then they may be allowed to speak about how they are helping the effort. Military personnel are told to treat the press respectfully but to politely refuse to answer any questions and normally, the No comment remark is the best answer to anything they ask. Most of the time military personnel are not given permission to discuss anything with the press because the press will take any little piece of information and use it to make up a story and they aren't too bothered with telling lies to make the story better. The military obviously has a very large need for security and any little bit of info that the press gets could jeopardise that security.
- Q: So i just got a French press and are a little unsure of how to use it properly. The directions and other websites have said to only use coarsely ground coffee in the press ( the directions said it would clog the filter and other how-to sites said it would go through the filter). My question is then this: is pre ground coffee (ex. fresh market Christmas blend) from the store not a good idea to put in the French press? I do not have a coffee grinder and am not planning on buying one.
- Unfortunately you cannot use ground coffee from the supermarket, or even coffee you grind in a regular coffee grinder for a French Press because the grind will be too fine. As you noted, the directions for the press tell you to use coarse-ground beans and the only way to really get a uniform grind is to use a Burr Grinder ... and they aren't cheap. The good news is that you can use your French Press for tea (using tea bags or whole loose leaves).
- Q: What are some of the most pressing issues for high school students and what can be done about them to change them? Originality is a must!
- so you want originality ok here it is, the most pressing issue is trying to ecourage kid's not to drop out, take it from one who's been there and done that, is school boring? you got that right not to mention alot more dangerous today than when i went, but bullets and all, oh what i'd give to be back in that boring place once again . . . what can be done about them to change them? . . . it's not them who need to change, it's the system of teaching and most of all we must stop incessively blaming teachers because kids are failing, teachers became teachers to teach not to be surrogate parents, school's have become cauldrons of confusion, undiceplined war zones, not to mention teaching methods so outdated i doubt even the gieco cave men could sit through a session without falling assleep, form the bordom and lack of relivance of what's being taught, not to mention percieve'd in an enviroment second only to ferensic morgue . . .
- Q: I pressed charges on someone because they pulled a gun on me for no reason and then they turned around and tried to press charges on me for Verbal Assault in the 3rd degree...I was just wondering how that was possible or if it is?

- Q: Hi there! Okay, I'm doing a square cross stitch design, and at the moment its in an oval frame to keep it tight. But eventually when its finished I'm going to want to frame it, and when I remove the oval, there's going to be the oval crease in it. So how can I combat this? Do I just continue stitching inside the oval until I can't anymore, remove it, do the rest of the design and then iron it afterwards? In the instructions it has got how to press it, face down with the iron on medium, but I just thought I'd double check so I don't make a mess of it in the end. Thanks a lot in advance! :)

- hmmm a good press for under 500 dollars? The only way would be to look on OKorder or craigslist for this. My press was about 2000 new that is though.
- Q: I need some tips on how to do a straddle press to handstand........i can't even lift my legs off the ground to get them in the splits in the air....so are there any good work outs to help me get stronger in the areas of muscles that I will use for this trick?!!?
