- Q: I enjoy baking as a stress buster and I was curious if using a cookie press was difficult in any way (including clean up). I've never seen one in use, but thought it would give my cookies a unique appeal since I don't know many people who use one. I adore those old fashioned, European style cookies.
- No, they are not difficult to use, you just need to practice a little. I bought one last year at Christmas time, So I will give you a couple of tips: 1) Use the recipe that comes with the press. They made the machine, so they know what combination of ingredients will work best with their machine. Some cookie doughs are too stiff, some are too buttery etc. to work in the press you buy. After you learn to use the press, you can try adapting some other recipe. 2) Chill your cookie sheet. The dough will absolutely not stick to a warm sheet, which will cause you undue frustration. Chill it for a few minutes before you cook your first batch, but more importantly chill it between batches. I like to rinse mine with cold tap water until it is cool to the touch, then dry it really well and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes before making a second batch. 3) Get a good quality cookie press. I got a Wilton because it seemed easier to fill and it comes apart completely for cleaning.
- Q: I'am struggling with my bench press lately. I use to do 150 now it went down to 135. Are there any other workouts to help increase my bench press back to 150 again?
- If you took a long break from working out you would have lost strength, a lot of other things can mess with your performance. To increase your bench press you would have to work on your chest, shoulders, and triceps. The internet has TONS of workouts for that, P90x has one you can do from home with just a few dumbbells etc. Quick fixes: keep your back flat on the bench, spread your legs and plant your feet, squeezing your glutes and core and try to bend the bar away from you when you push up.

- You can write your own press release. You don't need a pr person to write it. Have a few people proof read it before sending it out

- Lee okorder They are a reliable house, (I've dealt with, and can recommend them), and a lot less 'pricey'. You might consider buying the scale separately though. That Lee scale works, but is just at the bottom of 'useable'. Don't forget the other stuff you'll need: caliper, case trimmer, neck brush, funnel, and especially case lube. (Makes life a lot easier.)
- Q: I have noticed that when I bench press I am able to lift more weight when I tilt the bar lopsided and then lift. It is hard to explain but I lift my left side first and then my right and it seems to increase the weight I can do. Is this going to effect me at all?
- Your left shoulder/ chest muscles are likely stronger than your right, which is normal if you are dominant left handed. It sounds like you are likely not doing the exercise correctly if you have to rely on your stronger hand to get the bar up, your form is likely off which could cause poor results and injury. I would strongly suggest using less weight untill you get proper form and once you can do that continue to add more weight. And make sure you have a spotter, he/she can help you raise the bar, and keep your form correct and also bail you out if your about to drop the weight
- Q: Do you really need to buy a 4 color printing press to print more than one color on a shirt? Can't you just buy a 1 color printing press, do the first color, take off the screen, put the next screen and do the second color? Third color?
- You can defiantly just use a single colour press, however this will take up a lot more time and also reduce the quality as it will be difficult to align the press in the same position as the previous colour, this would probably contribute to a lot of waste too. It would depend on your clients, are you going to have a lot which are after 3 or 4 colour printing or are you going to be catering for those who are after fewer colours?
- Q: I'm trying to work out my chest, but bench pressing isn't really option. I like to exercise on my own because I can work at my own pace. I know you technically can bench press without a spotter but I never feel safe doing it, I just don't have the coordination and it's really wobbly.
