Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: I got an engine knock and backifiring and no power not even to move the car just a few feet. I figured its the vales that are eather broken or burned out. I just started to take my top end apart to check and change borken or damaged valves so i can drive the car once again. My question is, when i take the valve cover off i can see what looks like the valves and the springs and something in the middle of the springs, now what iam i gona be looking at for a broken/damaged valve since i dont see any obvious damages but i could be wrong.
take it in.
Q: I am trying to replace a leaky valve stem. And I didn't know how to get to the valve core and when I get there how do I change it? The charge is recovered. It is a 2000 Impala. Thanks in advance.Noah

Q: 2003 Ford Focus SE2.0L SPI EngineAutomatic Transmission 145KPerfectly maintained since new!One of the pistons had snapped, yes the actual piston, it didn't mess up the walls, but I am hearing a LOT about these dropping valve seatsI intended to do an entire rebuild with a kit, but did it break BECAUSE of a droppedvalve seat?I don't know because I don't know what that isHelp is appreciated
I don't know if cars really have replaceable valve seats or seats that can come loose (maybe they do with aluminum heads). But if a valve contacts a piston for whatever reason the valve and piston can sort of disappear (ie, break up). How many miles are on the car, and if it has a timing belt, did you ever replace the timing belt at the recommended miles (not normally an issue for engines with timing chain). Many engines are interference engines which means that if the timing belt breaks and pistons keep moving, a piston can hit a valve. Although, we had a regular V8 engine do that (valve and piston disappear) with a car from the late 1960's (not sure of actual cause, we replaced it with a used engine).
Q: This happens when the sprinklers are ON and goes on for a minute after the sprinklers go off. Should I replace the whole valve or do I need to check the diaphram or solenoid head? In addition to leaking, I have noticed a more potential problem - water hammer. As soon as the sprinkler goes off, I hear this loud banging noise from the pipes underground. Water pressure is fine ~ 50. My guess is air inside the pipes is causing this. Is this because of faulty valve which is leaking? Also, any difference between the valves that are sold in Lowe's and Home Depot to that of commercial valve? My lawn guy says commercial valves last a long time.
I have been given the equivalent line from our water application whilst the stress valve broke and blew up our water softener it rather is the 1st element on the line from their tension regulator. luckily, it has a life-time insurance yet their plumber instructed me that it extremely was once the accountability city on the grounds that of the stress regulator which they admitted to being at fault whilst they replaced it.
Q: Last year an echo revealed severe aortic valve regurgitation with low ef of 37 but ecg was normal. i am 36 yrs old. I have noticed that i often have chest pain when i lie on my left (especially after a heavy drinking or if my bp is high) but the pain subsides when i lie on my right or back. Is it possible that my aortic valve only leaks when i lie on my left side, if so, can I continue living a normal life without needing valve replacement surgery if avoid lieing on my left side. or i'm i fooling myself, is the heart damage progressing silently?
Hello, You don't tell us *why* your doctors think, you developed this problem with your aortic valve in the first place? Has there been any infection of the valve with germs, (bacterial endocarditis)? Did you have Rheumatic Fever as a child? Were you born, with stenosis or regurgitation of your aortic valve? Do you have abnormally early, clogging-up of your artery-linings with cholesterol?
Q: Can a dirty or faulty EGR valve cause overheating. My 2001 PT Cruiser is overheating but only on very hot days and when the air conditioning is on. Back flushed and pressure tested the radiator, changed the thermometer, fluid was low but doesn't seem to be loosing fluid since refilled. Check engine light came on and indicated poor air flow through the EGR valve. Is it worth replacing prior to pulling the radiator to check that for the problem with overheating? Mechanic I trust doesn't think the EGR can cause overheating.
This people above do not know much about EGR's which one of the main purposes is to lower combustion temperatures by introducing exhaust fumes into the intake. So yes it can add to the overheating problem. source GM tech
Q: ok so my 1993 bonneville started shaking and its smells like gas fumes in the car, so i cant drive it cause i have a newborn baby.so i took it to the dealership, they said codes 53,54,55,42,66 came up. they said i needed a new cadiletic converter, so i went to a local muffler shop. they said it was glowing cause it was so hot and said that wasnt the problem.i called the dealership back and they said they cleaned the egr vavle but said maybe it needs to be replaced, well before i spend any money i wanted to get everyones opinion, the car drive great, only shake when ur at idle. and smells awful inside uld this be the egr valve ?
could be egr or fuel pressure regulator. while running pull vacuum line off of regulator if fuel is present its bad .
Q: I went look at a car, and the guy selling the car said that the engine valve is leaking. Is this a big deal? How urgent would it need to be fixed? How much would that cost?
well my guess would be u have a bad valve. just go to auto zone checkers pet boys anywhere and just get a new vavle...
Q: Hi everybody,I need some information about the operation of a double solenoid valve and how to control it using a PLC
A double solenoid has two solenoids, and when voltage is supplied to one (and not the other) the valve shifts. Note that if voltage is supplied to both solenoids at the same time, the valve will stay in the position is was in (i.e. it won't shift since the solenoids will be working against each other). This is typically not desired, so make sure you remove voltage from one side when supplying it to the other. If no voltage is supplied to either solenoid, the result will be the same as if voltage is supplied to both, in that the valve will stay in the position is was in. What this means is that the cylinder has no home position, so when power is cut, the valve will stay where it was at that time, and the cylinder will continue to do work in the direction is was working in. Again, depending upon what the cylinder was doing, this may or may not be desired. For Conrolling with PLC you may need to wire two discrete outputs of PLC to those two solenoids using relay. And the ON/OFF those two outputs as required.
Q: so i'm replacing a one hole faucet, and i'm stuck at the very first step. the cold water valve turned off with no problems. i tried to turn on the cold water and none came out. unfortunately, the hot water valve just squeaks and goes around and around, never cutting off the water. when i turn it, it also leaks a minute amount of water, though regardless of which way i twist, it stops as soon as i do. i can't just unplug the hot water valve with it still running water, so does anyone have any ideas? how does one replace a valve like this to begin with? is it possible that there is a shut off valve for the house that i myself can access (without having to call someone to shut off my water)? in case you haven't noticed, i am a bit plumbing deficient, so if you could explain it without too much jargon, it would be much appreciated.
There has to be a main shutoff in the house, whether you are hooked up to city water or have a pump. And no, when you shut off the main valve and the pressure drops very little more water will escape the water heater. If the water heater has a shut off valve on the hot water line coming out of it, even better. Shut one or the other/or both off and drain the pressure via the sink faucet. The only water you will get when you take the problem valve off will simply what is in the lines. You can then change the valve and faucet. It's always prudent to shut off the power, or flame if the the water heater is gas, in case there is a bit of syphoning.
