Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Yes they are compatible. It's common to have underground galvanized service water lines (from the main to the house) connecting to a house main shut off connection which then leads to full copper in the house.

Q: I had to replace the seat washers/stems etc in order for the constant drips from the kitchen faucet to stop. It did; but when i went under the sink to turn the water valves back on, the hot water valve felt as something inside it went smooth??? i can turn the hot water valve left and right but nothing is happening. No hot water at all from the kitchen faucet..Also there's low water pressure from the cold water that only came about when I tried to turn the hot water back on from the valve underneath the sink
pull off the handle and try and turn it with channel locks or pliers, and remove the aerator screen and clean it. its very common for them to get plugged up after you turn off the shutoff valves and reopen.

the purge valve as it was refered to is in ur fuel pump on ur car and yes this happens offen when ur fuel pump is in ur fuel tank u should never run below about hafe a tank on a hot day because your fuel is what keeps ur pump from heating up and when u run low on fuel ur purge valve can over heat and warp hope this helps good luck

Q: I am having a leaky valve is that normal? the doctor said that it is normal what do i do?
Like most everything, there are degrees of valvular leakage. A valve can be leaking a lot or a very little amount. Valves are a biologic mechanism and therefore are not precisely manufactured with some areas that don't ideally fit, leading to minor leakage. If you were to take 100 random people off of the street and do an echocardiogram, the vast majority would have one valve or the other that had at least some trivial leakage. Therefore if the majority of people have the same thing and it is not a pathological process, it is essentially normal. Next, certain valves leaking are much more important that other valves. Moderate leakage of the tricuspid valve for instance is not a particularly important finding. But moderate leakage of the aortic valve is a very big deal that requires close medical attention. In sum, valves with trivial leakage do not require serial exams for follow up or any special measures like antibiotics before dental procedures. Since this is such a common finding, it is reasonable to consider this a normal finding. Not knowing precisely what the result was on your echo, I can not specifically advise you. At your next doctor's appointment make a note for yourself to ask him/her for clarification. Good luck.
Q: My check engine light is on in my 1999 Toyota Camry XLE...I went to autozone and they told me it was my egr valve BUT they did not tell me if it need to be cleaned or replaced. How can I tell if it needs to be cleaned or replaced
Flag is right. You should of got the code from AutoZone and posted it here. A trouble code can have several meanings and the salesperson just gave you his best interpretation with his limited knowledge. You either had a P0420, P1410, P1411, P1661 or P1662 code. More than likely it's EGR Valve Position sensor or EGR Vacuum Solenoid depending on the code. It also can be the wires or connectors that plug into them or one of the vacuum hoses to them. About a $40-$70 fix if you do it yourself. You can pull the EGR valve off to inspect it but you need to replace the $1 gasket under it when you are done. On old poorly maintained engines they can clog up with carbon deposits or the vacuum diaphragm can rupture. You can apply vacuum to the valve manually and see if it opens while you have it off. If you have good lungs you can do it with a piece of hose. :) If it works then it's not getting vacuum and most likely it's the EGR Vacuum Solenoid that opens and supplies vacuum to it. The EGR Valve Position Sensor tells the Vacuum Solenoid to open via the ECM. See if you can't get the code and post it.
