- Yes, the battery wont eventually run out as other people have stated. Hibernation is similar to standby (low power mode that saves what you have running for resume) except it doesnt go into a low power mode. Hibernation saves to your hard drive and then the computer uses no power. Basically, YES you can unplug it and it will stay like that until you start it up again.

- This is something you should check before you buy the video card. The card may have come with an adapter that plugs into a couple of your ide molex power connectors, and has the 6 pin connector you need on the other side. That might do it for you. Unless you don't have ide power connectors either. Or you can buy a new power supply. If your current power supply isn't big enough to support the new card you may end up buying a new power supply anyway.
- Q: I have a Karcher power washer which was left outside over night. An animal chewed threw the power cable and so is unusable. I was wondering how to re-connect the power cord together, safely. - You can install a plug on the cord to replace the one that was chewed off. Choose one with the same number of prongs as the cord has wires (2 or 3). Be sure to attach each wire to the correct terminal! Splicing the cord is also OK, and tape would not be a problem if applied properly, but I prefer to use heat-shrink tubing. When I do a top-grade splice, I first twist the wires tightly together without making a tail, then I solder them.

- Q: I have had my Sony Laptop for about 2-3years. And only recently is it acting weird.When I have my power plugged in, the laptop runs fine and can be on as long as the power cable is in. - The battery is toast. You will most likely need to buy a new battery for it.

- its safe but its better to run 2 separate wires due to you are wanting to use more power and one wire has a max load that it can handleyou run 2 and you will have more power to each amp
