Q: can we install power 480 VAC and control 120 VAC cables,,, each one in different conduit but in parallel and adjacent ?also for two control cables ,,,, can they installed in one conduit ?: Yes. That shouldn't be a problem. if it were data or extra low voltage dc then there could be some mutual induction issues. generally speaking. low and extra low voltage can be installed in the same conduit as long as the extra low voltage cables are insulated to the higher voltage present. ie use all cables rated at the highest voltage.

Q: Hi all, I'm moving into a new apartment August 1, and I'm wondering how far in advance I need to call the power company, cable company, etc to set up service. I know this is probably a dumb question, but throughout college I moved into apartments where at least one of the other roommates was staying (I took over someone's lease who was moving out, but the other girls stayed so I was the only new resident). Q: On my PSU I have two PCI-E 6 pin cables. I have looked at the motherboard and saw there is nowhere to plug it in and my motherboard manual says of no slots for it but I do have two PCI-Express slots. Do they plug into the cards themselves or something?How do I use the PCI-E power cables?: The PCI-E power cables plug into cards that require more power than the PCI-E slot can provide. Besides sheilding, use of capacitors on the power cable at the amp end (follow correct polarity on electrolytic types) will kill noise. A properly-rated, and connected, Zener diode is another step. Such things as antenna-leads are so sensitive that they are always well-shielded. ______________________________________... As for zener diode use, I have never heard of them being used in this application. But then, many new ideas have never been applied before. Q: I have one Ethernet cable running to a WiFi antenna. The antenna is powered by the Ethernet cable, using PoE. I want to be able to plug the current cable into a hub or switch, so I can connect other devices (non PoE) like an Xbox 360 or PC, but I also need to maintain the PoE to the antenna. Taking the antenna off PoE is not an option. What kind of device can I use to split this PoE line into PoE and non PoE cables?: Well, most POE devices come with a POE injector which puts the power on the line. That box will have TWO ethernet connections one which goes to the antenna has power on it. The other is a DATA ONLY cable. (also connected will be the power supply) That data only is the cable that is connected to your computer! Put that to any switch etc it is just plain everyday ethernet!

Q: Soooooo I don't know much about electronics, but... I'm pretty that my AC power cable for my new receiver was made wrong. You know how it supposed to have a positive and a negative pins? well they are both the same. I know that the wall outlet has the little whole and the bigger one. I've seen some AC power cables that only have the little flat pins so they fit on the wall outlet. My cable has two of the big flat pins... so I can't plug it in the outlet. What do I do? is there like a plug I could buy? I've been using google but I can't find anything...: If the equipment is under warranty, I might consider taking it back and complaining.
