Q: Recently I was sent a link to Yahoo answers from a client who was shocked to read the misinformation albeit well meaning answers to many questions about carpet dyeing. Carpet dyeing is a very specialized field and few have mastered the technology. I want to ask after the nay-sayers have read the correct information, if they have finally achieved the correct education to venture any kind of answer about carpet dyeing. Whether stain, spot, wrong color, outdated color, or simply color changes all can be done with perfection by a carpet dyeing expert. This is NOT a do-it-yourself type project for property owners. We have corrected many unsuccessful attempts by carpet owners and carpet cleaners who try to dye on their own. Please tell me you experience and I'll give you the correct answers. We have dyed millions of yards of carpets during the last 20 years in more than 200 locations in USA and 8 other countries. I just want people to know it is a viable option to carpet replacement.
It my no longer be that straightforward. what's the carpet created from? maximum synthetics do no longer take dyes nicely so examine the content textile of the carpet. additionally bleach could desire to harm the backing and/or the padding below so examine that for harm. the ultimate answer could be getting a sprint that carpet, slicing out the spot and putting a clean piece in. you would be stunned how solid it could look. If this is performed ideal you may no longer even tell it replaced into repaired.
Q: We Spilled Some Primer On The Rug And We Don't Know How To Get It Off And We Don't Even Know If It Does? If Anyone Knows How To Remove It Tell Me! Your Help Will Be Awesome!
Hi, Nail polish remover, Paint Thinner, Alcohol, even White Petrol are some of the substances you may use to remove the stain. Advise : Do not scrub the spill , but remove it by dabbing the spill in a circular motion using a clean white cloth. Caution : The colors of the rug may bleed if the wool is cheaply dyed. Try it on a small portion before trying on the spill Disclaimer : You should probably hire a professional to get your rug cleaned, but if you want to DIY then do so at your OWN risk only. I am not responsible for any losses
Q: hi!i just got a new carpet about 2 weeks ago.i have to vacuum every single day.little balls of the carpet like shed, and they are everywhere!is there anyway to stop this from happening?and will it stop eventually?thanks.
Very common in a staple type carpet.. It will go away after a while.Only a continuous filament carpet will not do this.. There should have been a label on the back of the samples you looked at and they usually stated this.. Mine did in my store
Q: does anyone have a walkthrough for the games 2 win game Funny red carpet

Q: I have carpet in the living room, it's not a big room, average size. I have a BISSELL steam cleaner, the one with the bristles, and I can empty the tank 5 times and keep going over the room and it still comes up dirty (the water) Is this normal? It's not possible to clean it until the water comes up clean is it? This carpet is probably old, we moved in a year ago so I am not sure how old it is.
Clean the best you can.. You d be absolutely shocked at the amount of dirt is under the carpet and pad even in the cleanest of houses.. I ve pulled up many carpet and the home owners are appalled at the amount of dirt that is under there. GL
Q: what is a penny rug?
It is a type of applique made from felted wool. A penny rug is a folk art style of decorative appliqué, traditionally made from felted wool. Primitive shapes were cut out and sewn onto a wool background using an embroidery blanket stitch of contrasting colors. Dating from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century, a penny rug was not used on the floor, but instead as decorative table coverings or wall hangings. This folk art appliqué was often finished with a tongue-shaped border. Coins such as pennies were used as templates for the circle shapes which were layered onto the bordering tongues. Hence the name penny rug.
Q: So last night I got rug burn on my face (fell on carpet and my face slid on it). My dad told me to let it air out, so last night i slept with nothing on it. This morning my mom calls and tells me a nurse she works with told her it needed to be really moist and hydrated, so ive had neosporin/aquaphor/aloe gel on it all day. The nurse said if it dries out and scabs it could scar, so keeping it hydrated wont allow it to scar. In the past couple hours a white layer has formed over most of the burn, what is this? And is this how I should be treating this burn?

Q: Which do you think hurts more: rug burns or tatami burns?(I don't know what made me think of this, but I know I haven't seen it asked before)
Rugs are better at completely obliterating your skin, but tatami mats can give you slivers. I'd have to go with rug, though.
Q: Hello, last night my dumb boyfriend spilt curry all over my sheepskin rug-tried cleaning with carpet cleaner but its not really taken out the stain. Should I take it to the laundrette? Dry clean? Please help!
No take your dumb boyfriend to the cleaners you wont get a curry stain out of a sheepskin rug although you could try bleaching it if it hasn't gone down too deep into the wool Try Hydrogen Peroxide from your chemist shop. if that won't shift it you need a new one sorry
