Q: can we install power 480 VAC and control 120 VAC cables,,, each one in different conduit but in parallel and adjacent ?also for two control cables ,,,, can they installed in one conduit ?: It is a standard practice...to run power and control cables in different conduit but the basic criteria is voltage gradings.All cables upto 500volts can be laid in one conduit whether power or conrol.In case of high voltage cables, because of elecromagnetic inducion effect, different conduit is adopted.

Q: This is a very small system, just a tape deck, cd player, mp3 input, and a phono pre. This is then run from the L and R outputs from the mixer into a 2 channel EQ, then to a power amp (2x250 @ 2ohm), and from there to 2 vintage kustom speakers.Should I be using TRs or TS cables for all of these connections?FYI the speakers are about 25ft from the power amp on the opposite side of the room: TRS cables are used for two channels, either to patch stereo signals from one component to another, or for send and return in an effects loop. TS cables are used for single-channel patching, and would typically be used between a mixer and a power amplifier. Speaker cables are different from signal cables, even though they often use the same plugs. Speaker cables should be made of 18AWG or larger 2-conductor wire, whereas signal cables shoud be made of shielded (screened) wire. Be certain to use the correct type of cable for the type of signal being conveyed. You may want to get some local help for this. Someone near you should be able to assist.

Q: how deep underground are electric cables put and gas pipes laid underground for houses and bungalows here in the united kingdom,the Supply would be coming from the street up the front garden,asking this as thinking of knocking in metal posts for garden fence,: Over here in the US we have telephone numbers we can call (Called Call before you dig) so the power companies will come out and mark the lawn wherever the lines are. Q: Im going to get a new graphics card. I am getting the XFX Geforce 9800 GT and it needs 1 six pin PCI Express power cable. It comes with a cable to convert 2 molex cables into 1 six pin pci power cable. Problem is, is that dont have any molex cables available. I have 4 SATA power cables. So if I got a converter to convert 2 SATA power cables into 2 Molex cables into 1 six pin power cable work? Would I lose any voltage/ watts? Please let me know, I got the graphics card for christmas and I dont want to end up with it not even working.: I okorder ) And no, it won't work. The PCIx power is drawing from a different part of your PSU than the molex is. Send me an email, and we can talk about upgrading that PSU. Q: I currently have a vibe amp wired in that my front speakers run off, im thinking about gettin an Edge sub with a built in amp so was wandering if id have to wire in a new power lead or if i could run them both of the one thats already running to the battery? Also how would i get rca cables running to each if i only have one output on my stereo? Thanks: yes i used the same power wire and just split all my wires for my second amp and everything is fine but i made a new ground for it. it will work fine but make sure you have a good battery or its gonna die, i made sure i got a life time warrenty so i can just take them back and get a brand new one whenever it dies.
