Q: I want a cool teen rug... but where do i get a cheap one??? i want to try to stay under $40.00 and i want something really cool so, please help!
I okorder You can search by size, shape and color and they have thousands of designs. Free shipping, too.
Q: What material is good for bedroom carpet
Home bedroom carpet, this material carpet not only maintains inherent beauty of the fiber in a long time, linen has a good characteristic of the texture of the carpet
Q: 4 years ago I shortly dated someone in the military who purchased a persian rug for me in afghanistan. I felt guilty keeping it, but he insisted I kept it anyways, and am now wanting to sell it, however I know nothing about it. Are there any websites that can teach me anything about the rug, like to verify it really is a persian rug or values?
You can read full story at WikiPedia about Persian rugs and its type.
Q: Does anyone have a rug cleaner recipe that contains ammonia, dish soap and water. And is depensed from a foaming container.
Is this a rug you can take outside.? if so, use the dishwashing liquid( just a little) and scrub it then rinse well, hang to dry..Mine come out beautifully.
Q: Is there a formula that you can tell how many feet are on a roll of Carpet without having to unroll and measure it?
1. assume d carpet is so tightly rolled dat it can b treated as a right circular cylinder 2. let the radius of this rolled carpet be R width W, then volume V = pi*R^2*W 3. measure thickness of carpet accurately, say = t then V = W*t*L 4 equating the two, W*t*L = pi*R^2*W or L = pi*R^2 / t u don't hv 2 measure d width, only R t [ actually, better 2 measure D use R = D/2 ] happy new year !!!
Q: Silly Putty dried on my carpet! How do I get it off???
I was able to get gum (and many other stains) out of my carpet using Valspar Goof Off. Miracle product.
Q: Today I put my green fuzzy rug in the dryer for about 15 minutes to clean it a bit and before i put it in the dryer it was not wet and it was all clumpy when i took it out. I also used an aroma therapy dryer sheet to make it smell good- vanilla. Now it looks like sheep wool on a sheep! I was wondering if you know how to get it back to normal. It is also in knots ( I tried combing and brushng it out). please help me asap. it says:Front: 100% acrylicBack: 100% polyesterWash in cold waterDrip dry onlyDo not bleachDo not iron(It is from walmart)if that helps
Oops! Sounds like you fried the puppy. The entire rug is made of man-made fibers. The heat of the dryer, especially since the rug was dry, melted the fibers. Since it is from WalMart, hopefully it wasn't too expensive. Afraid you can't try to take it back. Best to get another and put the old one in the dog house. Next time you put it in the dryer put the setting on air only.
Q: got new carpet it stained does they carpet have warranty? and they damaged my walls mad them dirty made wholes and chipped off the paint
They should warranty it if the carpet itself has a stain blocker warranty. Not all carpets do. Check your paper work for the type you have. Any good company will have given you paper work on the stain properties. Damage to the walls will fall on the installers shoulders. Take pictures and start complaining ASAP. Empire should contact the installers and make them pay for it. And your salesperson will handle the warranty work as far as filing a claim. Don t give in if it brand new and has a warranty. Most carpet warranties go from 5/7/10+ years and go on a pro rated basis if the carpet is older than a year. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q: I want to clean my carpet but stainz and deep down dirt is a problem, is there something i can add to the water of my carpet cleaner along with the cleaner i would use to improve the results? And maybe there is a home remedy for this and something for a pre-spot cleaner to help break up the stains? Thanks for the help
1 Mix some powder laundry detergent with some water; use common sense with how much you're mixing. Mix together with a cloth. #2 Vacuum your rug. Once over is good enough, and start from a corner. #3 Wipe down a small area of the carpet with the cloth to make it damp, and collect any lint from the top. #4 Scrub the area gently with the scrub brush until clean. #5 Throw down some old towels or sheets so the carpet doesn't get dirty, and to soak up excess liquid. #6 Replace your soapy water with fresh clear water after finishing the entire area. #7 Go over the cleaned areas with just water and the scrub brush to remove any excess soap, then let it dry. It will dry faster with fans or open windows. #8 When it's done, your carpet will smell like the detergent you used and will be sparkling clean. #9 Try extremely hard to remove all detergent from the carpet, as the excess detergent will pick up soil very quickly. #10 Be sure to vacuum when it's dry to fluff it up.
Q: Yes... i have been staining a part of my wood closet doors. While this has happened... i had accidentally gotten a few small spots of stain on the carpet. Does anyone know how to get these out?
If you have olefin carpeting you can use anything to get it out. If you have a blend then you are out of luck. If it can penetrate wood to stain it, it will penetrate carpet fiber. We use a solvent to break down oil stains. Water based cleaners will not work. Like takes out like. Be careful with solvent cleaners. If you use too much it can beak down the glue on you carpet backing. You can get solvent spotters from carpet cleaning supply stores. We consider this to be carpet damage not a stain.
