Q: okaii so i had some accidents and droped food on my carpet (my room) anyways i was wandering if anyone has a trick to remove carpet stains?? plzzz i need help cuz i hate it how my carpet looks dirty so yeah plizz help me!!!! :P
Nature's Miracle is the ultimate element available for removing carpet stains. yet you are able to seize them whilst they're sparkling. in case you enable them to take a seat down too long the urine eats on the carpet fibers, after which you will get a black mild and locate the twist of destiny element of the carpet and soak it till the urine is long gone or they'll shop going back and peeing interior the comparable spot. then you certainly will could replace your carpet.
Q: Which rug should I get?
The second one
Q: We're moving into an 850-sqft place with all hardwood floors. We are thinking about putting in either rugs or carpet for the WHOLE PLACE (except bathroom and kitchen) because we have a 1 year old who could really use the extra cushion. Which is more cost-efficient? Where can I get quality rugs/carpet at a bargain?
If you are buying this place you can put in carpet, but if you are renting you should go with area rugs as you can take them with you when you move. You can get padding for area rugs primarily to keep a rug from slipping, but some are thicker and add softness. The best time to buy carpeting is between Jan 1st and March 31st. This should apply to area rugs also, as most home furnishings and linens are all on sale. Regardless, look for sales in local stores whenever you can. Sometimes one will find an unexpected closeout. One site showed an 8 x 10 area rug can range from less than $200 to $2000 depending on the fiber and quality of construction. There is almost 9 square yards in this size area rug (80 sq feet divided by 9 (9 = sq feet in a sq yard)). The same site had carpeting ranging from $7 per sq yard to $50 in a standard width of mostly 12 ft, and occasionally 15 ft. Padding is extra, and this site had 5 to choose from, but no pricing was shown.
Q: Do I rent a carpet cleaner or use resolve carpet cleaner poweder? Its for a large living room - really needing to save money
I was cleaning with a can of carpet cleaner. It did not work very well. Go rent the steam Cleaner. You will be glad that you did it. I got a green machine for my carpets. I do them whenever I want. I do a room at a time. My carpets are so clean now. I am not only one that does this trick. A lot of people uses these green machines for that, cleaning room size carpets. It takes about 1/2 hour or so. You get your exercise and clean carpets.
Q: Was looking to buy a rug online from argos but didnt know whether it would be soft or not, prefer a soft rug here is the advert
It's not as soft as wool, but it's nothing as bad as walking on sisal. One thing I don't like about polypropylene is that it becomes matted easily, and it doesn't pop back up when it's vacuumed, like nylon pile rugs do.. Rather, the threads seem to stick together, and if you have to scrub out pet vomit or spilled mashed potatoes, it seems to matt even more. It's a nice-looking rug, and most likely a great price, but I'd keep looking.
Q: that moves constantly. I'm forever pulling and tugging on it to keep it flat and straight. The rug is located in my living room with a coffee table on it. What can I do, if anything, to prevent this thing from moving around on mesignedtired of tugging. :-)
Hi, okorder /
Q: Hi, I am considering byung a rug for the living room where my child will be able to play/crall in couple of months. What do you recommend. Quality? Type? Any suggestions? What not to buy? Thanks
I would suggest something very soft, easy to clean and large. I wouldn't go with braided. Try K-mart, they have some nice rugs at decent prices and if the baby spills or spits up then you don't have to worry about how much money you spent on it. Make sure the backing is one that doesn't slip. If it does, make sure you buy the stuff the put on the back to keep it from sliding. I saw that at walmart the other day.
Q: I am replacing carpet in my living room, hallway and 3 bedrooms. All with one kind of carpet. I am looking for something durable, stiff, non-furry so it's easy to maintain and resist stain. Almost every store we visited is selling different type of fabric. I am getting very confused. So far the fabric I've seen are nylon, smartstrand, BCF Strudon... anyone knows the difference?
Carpets and rugs enhance the beauty of homes or commercial spaces. Most commonly used fibers to make carpets are wool (warm and durable), silk (most exotic), jute, some synthetic fibers like nylon, polyester, olefin, and acrylic, out of which polyester is durable of all. Bamboo carpets and Coir carpets form a different range of eco-friendly carpets.
Q: dried into wool rug
Hi First thing if it is still wet dab area with towels to absorb as much as possible. If the urine stain is brown then it is a sticky residue problem. I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pouring water on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time, to remove the sticky residue. If the stain comes back in a few days you may have to do this a few times. If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it. If it has gone yellow then it is a PH problem. You can try using vinegar (one part vinegar to five parts water) to see if you can remove the stain. You can also try “Nature's Miracle” this is a liquid containing enzymes that feed on the organisms that give urine its odours. Sometime urine stains cannot be removed. The main reason for stain to resurface is the soap that you leave behind. The most important thing to do is rinse the stain with a wet vac and water to remove all the reside. In my experience, Nature's Miracle is your best bet. Good luck! From a carpet cleaner of 14 years
Q: I spilled liquid laundry soap on the floor yesterday. I cleaned it with a wet vac and I thought it went away. Today when I woke up it stained the carpet. I've been rinsing it all day with just water and sucking it up with the wet vac. How can I get this stain to go away. Please help very desperate.
Laundry Detergent shouldn't stain a carpet as it is a type of soap that can be used to remove stains from carpets, haha. If rinsing with water again and again isn't working, you might want to try a stain remover. Are you sure you have removed all the detergent from the carpet and the stain you are seeing isn't just the dried detergent left in the carpet?
