- Q: i keep having these like dizzy spell where the whole room gets really light and i start falling over but im able to keep myself up. it lasts like 3 minutes at the most. my neighbor told me that i might be amnemic so my mom is taking me to a doctor soon. what can i do before i get a chance to go to the doctor to get more iron. im just scared that its going to happen to me at school.
- The iron in red meat is readily absorbed so it is a good source of iron. Vitamin C also helps to absorb iron so plenty of fruit and vegetables in conjunction with red meat wil boost your iron levels. There is also plenty of iron in nuts.
- Q: I am looking for a flat iron and I would like to see which is the best of the best.I would also like another like to know the best inexpensive flat irons. Thanks for the help!
- ya, front end inspection for sure, ball joints ??
- Q: I have to take calcium and vitamin B twice a day, as well as iron tablets, also twice a day. I am told calcium prevents absorbtion of iron. What should be the interval between the calcium tablets and the iron tablets? Is one hour enough?
- Actually there has been no formal study information that says calcium prevents iron absorbtion. Some books say its the other way around. The only food substance proven to prevents iron absorbtion is soy, phytates, and polyhenols. And that only if your a vegan. If that doesnt make you feel better, wait 4 hours between supplements if they are solid, and 2 hours if they are gel capsules or drink. Hope that helps
- Q: What are some foods high in iron?
- Red meat, Egg yolks, Dark, leafy greens (spinach, collards), Dried fruit (prunes, raisins), Iron-enriched cereals and grains (check the labels), Mollusks (oysters, clams, scallops), Turkey or chicken giblets, Beans, lentils, chick peas and soybeans, Liver, Artichokes.
- Q: what foods are rich in iron??? and exactly how much iron do we need daily??
- Beans, spinach, nuts and meats No idea about how much we are supposed to get, sorry.
- Q: Everyone talks about how iron deficiency tablets works, but how do they work?
- Iron in general is absorb when taken with Vitamin C and Potassium. Those two are a must if you want to absorb iron.
- Q: Why is it important that transformers have an iron core and not say a steel one ?thanks
- even inspite of the undeniable fact that iron conducts electricity, this conductivity isn't any help in iron's utility as a transformer center. in actuality, the conductivity is a concern that enables cutting-edge loops in the floor layers of the transformer center to circulate, effectively protecting the majority fabric from the changing magnetic container the middle is meant to accentuate and direct. those cores are laminated to interrupt up those cutting-edge loops so they do no longer interfere lots with the middle's operation. Ferrite ceramic cores paintings very resembling iron cores yet habit electricity poorly or not often in any respect. as a result they are used for transformer cores meant to function at greater frequencies the place the laminations in iron cores would want to be too skinny to be sensible.
- Q: i need a bit more information on iron sulphide the compound to describe it. and also iron and sulphur the mixture if you can describe that. the uses of it, properties if have any and any others. websites will be helpful too. Thank you.
- Iron sulphide is a grayish coloured compound formed by the Synthesis of iron and sulphur, when iron fillings and powdered sulphur are heated in a test-tube. It ignites spontaneously in air and evolves hydrogen sulphide gas when dilute hydrochloric acid is poured over it. Its properties are independent of its constituent elements. Iron is black and ferromagnetic in nature and sulphur is a amorphous yellow element whereas iron sulphide is gray, non-magnetic and crystalline. The mixture of Iron and Sulphur is a heterogeneous solid-solid mixture. When dilute Hydrochloric acid is poured over the mixture it would emit hydrogen gas as only Iron reacts and sulphur doesn't. If one heats this mixture in a dry test-tube Iron(II) sulphide would be formed.
