Q:im 13 weeks pregnant and have been feeling very run down and weak and it happens to suddenly i spoke to my doctor gave me 200MG FERROUS SULPHATE iron tablets but they have a risk of harming the baby. is there any other pre natal vitamins with iron i can take? and where can i find them?
Taking prenatals with iron is a great choice. I took One A Day Prenatals that had iron but unfortunately, the iron was making me nauseas and contipated. Many women tolerate iron well though. I would
Q:i have a new fish tank and i read something about iron so i was wondering is iron important for fishlike why do fish or its habitat need iron??
Forget about iron - yes it's an important trace element for ANY form of life, but you don't need to worry about it in an aquarium situation. Fish food contains trace amounts of Iron, so your fish will get plenty, as long as you feed them. Ian
Q:Okay, well I straighten my hair almost everyday, and my hair is getting damaged. What is the best flat iron, and shampoo/conditioner to use?I‘m trying to look for a flat iron that doesn‘t do much damage to my hair.
find a shampoo or conditioner that will restore your hair first. try pantene or bumble and bumble. try using got 2b crazy sleek serum ion your hair before ironing but let it dry. never iron your hair while it's wet. also don't apply too much serum because it will weigh your hair down. then buy a ceramic iron because they cause as much damage. and try not to iron it everday try every other day.
Q:I bought some ties from a department store and they have creases from how they were folded. Can you get the creases out with an iron?
You definitely are a heterosexual. Meaning, you care a lot about your looks. Women that obsess about it, tend to be very superficial. It's not necessary to go through all the stuff you're doing. I am a woman, and trust me. Instead of spending 1000 hours a day on all that extra stuff, start spending time at the gym. If you get buff, women will DEFINITELY appreciate it. Not many women are attracted to very skinny men, simply because naturally we want to be protected (I'm not sure if you've taken biology). Spend time at the gym, of course look nice Showering 2x a day isn't necessary, unless you work out. Dressing up ALL the time, is a little weird. It shows you care a lot about looks, you should just wear normal clothes at least half the week. Otherwise, at least to me. You'll come off uptight. It's alright if your shoes are a little dirty ;) especially if you got the muscles.
Q:I‘m rather stuck on this question:What mass of iron(II) sulfate would be needed to provide 28 grams of iron?I know that the mass of one mole of iron(II) sulfate is 152g, but I‘m not entirely certain of the question. All posts are appreciated!
Iron (II) Sulfate formula is FeSO4 That is 1--Iron,1-Sulfur,4-Oxygen Atomic weights are Fe-56 S-32 O-16 (4 O- 64) Add them up and you get 152 thats why one mole weighs 152 grams So one mole of Iron(II) Sulfate has 56 grams of Iron in it. To get 28 grams of Iron would be one half mole or 76 grams of Iron (II) Sulfate. Make Sense ?
Q:is overdose of iron chloride in vitamin tablets poisonous or harmful in any way to the body? if so, what is the percentage of overdose?
Iron in vitamins is possibly one of the most dangerous ingerdients, simply because the body can't cope with too much of it. Iron is a heavy metal, like mercury and lead, which can build up in the body and cause problems. ODing on iron from vitamin tablets is acutaly a big statistic in USA kids. Still, it's hard to take too many {unless you think the tablets are sweets}.
Q:I just ate 3 flinstone vitamins (chewable) and then read on the package that they contain iron and no child or adult should eat more than 1 per day so will I be ok? Each vitamin has 15mg of iron. I also ate a huge piece of chicken and had cinnamon on my toast (cinnamon contains iron) earlier today. I‘m female, 28, 150lbs. Is it ok??
5-10% dietary iron is absorbed. 60% if taken in a supplement like a vitamin. vit. c will incrase the absorbtion. dairy decreases absorbtion. a adult dose of ferrous fumarate(iron) is 200mg per day, ferrous gluconate(iron) is 325mg/day, ferrous sulfate(iron) is 325/day and elemental iron 50-100mg/day. so i would say you are problably fine. early signs of toxicity are: stomach pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. late signs blue lips/fingernails/palms, drowiness, weakness, fast heart rate(above 100/min.) can cause seizure, liver failure, heart collapse, GI bleeding, shock, intestinal obstuction so if you have any sympotoms go to the ER. i would probably lay off the vitamins for a few days. extra iron is stored in the fat not excrexed in the urine (water wont work) so you don't want to take too much. next time read directions before you swallow :). good luck.
Q:Like, how did it affect the Mycenaean‘s and other kingdoms, besides that their tools were made out of iron. Thankss!
Those with iron weaponry could defeat their enemies more readily than those without. This civilization existed at the beginning of the iron age. Those who had bronze weapons could not compete on the battlefield. Those with iron weapons had two things going for them: a source of iron and (likely secret) knowledge as to how to smelt the ore to produce iron weapons and other utensils.
