- Q: I heard that the body stores iron in the bone marrow creating iron reserves that it will need in a crisis. In case your not getting enough iron. What I want to know is; if you ran out of the reserves, meaning no iron left in your body, what would it do to you?I know that lack of iron can stop your body producing energy efficiently. Most doctors don‘t even know that iron deficiency can cause constipation.Plus getting your iron from red meat to much can cause gallstones.I‘ve checked the internet quite a bit and I‘m left with the impression that everyone has overlooked what my question is about.I‘m not sure if this is true but logically wouldn‘t iron deficiency weaken your immune system. If that is true, than when your iron reserves hit zero a simple cold could kill you.
- The reason that iron is important is because it is necessary for the formation of red blood cells. hemoglobin (heme actually means iron) are responsible for transporting oxygen throughout your body. So you don't lose energy if you are iron deficient, you lose blood cells. Blood cells have an expiration date. They die. You need to constantly create more. Your bone marrow is responsible for creating red blood cells. If you do not have enough iron then you cannot have enough red blood cells, that means you won't have good oxygen perfusion to all your body, your extremities will begin to suffer first. This is why people with iron deficiency anemia suffer symptoms such as: feeling cold (poor circulation) feeling weak and sleepy (poor circulation) feeling winded or tired after mild exercise (poor circulation). you get the idea. Ironoxygen, oxygenlife. No oxygen No life. so absolutely, if you ran out of iron and did not consume more iron you WOULD die. No doubt about it. Your body requires iron to survive. The iron in red meat is better for your body and much much more readily made available than the iron you find in non-protein sources such as broccoli or kale or spinach, etc. You actually can not absorb most of the iron you consume, believe it or not. There are other minerals also that can interrupt and slow down iron metabolism too. It is pretty easy to become iron deficient. Red meat and protein sources are the healthiest and best types of iron for your body. PS- there are actually LOTS of kinds of anemia and only one of those kinds is related to iron. That is iron deficiency anemia It is a fairly common type of anemia, so a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that anemiairon deficiency, but that isn't the case.
- Q: im 13 weeks pregnant and have been feeling very run down and weak and it happens to suddenly i spoke to my doctor gave me 200MG FERROUS SULPHATE iron tablets but they have a risk of harming the baby. is there any other pre natal vitamins with iron i can take? and where can i find them?
- Taking prenatals with iron is a great choice. I took One A Day Prenatals that had iron but unfortunately, the iron was making me nauseas and contipated. Many women tolerate iron well though. I would
- Q: I have jeans that I do not want to shrink, so I am hang-drying them rather than tumble-drying them. Once they are dry, can I iron them, or will the heat cause them to shrink?
- Yes you can iron them and no the heat from the iron will not cause the jeans to shrink. Only washing clothes in hot water can decrease clothes size.
- Q: whos words was the iron curtain speech a response to? what did the other man mean? what did time magazine say about him?
- Iron Curtain Speech March 5, 1945 Winston Churchill gave this speech at Westminster College, in Fulton, Missouri, after receiving an honorary degree. With typical oratorical skills, Church introduced the phrase Iron Curtain to describe the division between Western powers and the area controlled by the Soviet Union. As such the speech marks the onset of the Cold War.
- Q: I inherited some hybrid clubs and was wondering what woods/irons they replace? They are a 17, 20, 23, 26, and 29 degree hybids.
- 20* 3 iron 23* 4 iron 26* 5 iron Try them! Play couple of rounds with them! Personally, I switched my 3 iron with the 20* hybrid and I have more then decent results. Works for me! Some people are more traditionalist and they will never use hybrids, but, believe me, they are working, especially if you want to shave some strokes from your handicap.
- Q: i already have a flat iron but i was wondering if i should get the thinner one or a crimper or curling ironIDK. HELP!
- First, does your flat iron work well for you? If it does, don't buy a new one, if it doesn't, buy a better one. I'd suggest for a cheaper but good alternative, Cortex. But if you're willing to pay a bit more an Amika is a good choice. Also many straighteners can curl hair so if you know how don't bother with a curling iron, if you can't curl with your straightener you might wanna buy one that you can with, it's like a win-win! New straightener, new curling iron! Don't bother with a crimper, rather get a Triple Barrel or a Waver. It's kind of in now to curl your hair and some people just can't with their straightener so if you have trouble with that then go with a curling iron! Good luck! P.S. if you have time, please check out my hair blog- it'd be really appreciated! damagebegone.blogspot.ca/
- Q: if i have a stiff shaft for my driver, a Burner, then should i get irons with stiff shafts to?
- The flex of a shaft can be varied depending on the needs of the golfer. Stronger golfers tend to swing faster and therefore need a stiffer shaft to keep the club head from lagging too far behind. You can get a stiff graphite shaft. they make them in all sorts of flexes. I don't think anyone is suggesting you get it in steel. I'd see a club fitter if I were you. Any good golf pro can analyze your swing and tell you what degree of shaft flex you need. Good luck.
- Q: i need a bit more information on iron sulphide the compound to describe it. and also iron and sulphur the mixture if you can describe that. the uses of it, properties if have any and any others. websites will be helpful too. Thank you.
- Iron sulphide is a grayish coloured compound formed by the Synthesis of iron and sulphur, when iron fillings and powdered sulphur are heated in a test-tube. It ignites spontaneously in air and evolves hydrogen sulphide gas when dilute hydrochloric acid is poured over it. Its properties are independent of its constituent elements. Iron is black and ferromagnetic in nature and sulphur is a amorphous yellow element whereas iron sulphide is gray, non-magnetic and crystalline. The mixture of Iron and Sulphur is a heterogeneous solid-solid mixture. When dilute Hydrochloric acid is poured over the mixture it would emit hydrogen gas as only Iron reacts and sulphur doesn't. If one heats this mixture in a dry test-tube Iron(II) sulphide would be formed.
