- Hi There, The white wire (pigtail) that was pulled loose needs to be connected to the other white wires inside the box. . After that connect the black pigtail (that is hanging loose) and white pigtail to the eterminals on the light fixture. Hope that helps, Al
- Q: I have installed a new wiring harness on my trailer, and two new LED trailer lights. The tail lights work, both turn signals work, but for some reason, I do not have a brake light on the right side. Both lights are grounded to their own post, and I do have a good ground on the coupler of the trailer. If a turn signal and brake light in a 4 wire system are using the same wire (green in this case)- how can one work, while the other is not? Any good ideas? I really appreciate the help.
- assuming it was working ok before....... funky symptoms like that (where you can't imagine the circuit that would make 'em behave like that) almost always turn out to be a weak ground -- like the ground is ok for turn signals because only one side is on at a time, but when you demand enough current to light up both sides, it just ain't happening. you can rule out a ground issue between the vehicle and trailer by hooking a jumper cable between the frames. if that don't produce a change, then run an oversized wire from the fixture direct to the connector.

- Call the manufacturer about your ceiling fan. It may be designed to work with a light kit. I've done this myself. The grey and red sound like wiring that works with the light kit. The black, white, and green wires are hook to your house wire. (House wire is black, white, and bare (ground)).

- Hi mate, generally for your guages you will need a + and a - for the lights in them to work and the guage (im guessing is electronic) will have one left for the sender wire to hook up to. at the other end the + is to be connected to your sender and a - to the nearest ground or metalic or run back to your - on your batt. most of them will work in the same way and volts is the easiest. sorry no schematics but generally if you wire it backwards it will work backwards. ive never hurt 1. hope this helps

- no offence and no help but WHY did you not take a note of the connections as others have been told to do,in reality it makes no difference what colour of wiring goes where it is what the wire does that is important in other words if you swap the brown and blue at a light it will still work can you not remember what the connections were at onset of job.Best plan of action when dealing with electrics is if you do not know what to do do not do it

- Most (smart) SPL competitors use welding wire. Because of one thing, it's cheaper. Go for it. You'll save much money. It's not as fine as audio wire, but you can make up for that by buying larger wire, still cheaper. I use welding wire in my audio system. It's well worth the dollars saved. Good Luck!
- Q: like can u use home power wire that is 4 gauge rather then getting the car power wire
- Home okorder /... (spanky, well trying to run solid wire in a car would be a real task! lol) And, 4 gauge can handle more than 95 amps.
