Q: How good are the Kirby Vacuum cleaners?: Ive had a Kirby, Electrolux and Rainbow (BIG pain!) I recently bought a Dyson (purple one for around $500) Best one yet! I have allergies and asthma so I am always trying to get one that helps with my problems. My friend raved about the Dyson (and it is bagless) I use it more than the others now. (actually the Rainbow was sold in a yard sale, and the Electrolux is now for the cars only) Even if they were the same price - I prefer the Dyson over all of the higher priced brands.

Q: My vacuum cleaner makes my house smell every time I use it. Its a brand new vacuum. I've tried vacuuming up baking soda but that didn't work. Please help.: Knowing the type of smell would help. Also is it an upright? Does it have a hose? If it isn't mechanical, belt, beater brush. Could there be something caught along the way?? Food or? Lay the vacuum flat if it's an upright release handle and check for a blockage. Mine has a hose that it goes through first. I use a broom stick if something gets stuck. You can also use another vacuum (shop vac is great). If it's not that...change the bag, vacuum and change again. I also toss potpourri on the floor to make the house smell good. They also sell tablets that you can buy. If it's brand new I would also be looking at returning it for an unstinky one~~~

What about you?: As unique and crazy as that sounds, I've never herd of such an activity. If you ask me it sounds rather odd, and pointless. I personally don't like vacuums though, they tend to make a lot of noise pollution and I just can't stand that. Q: Hi im going to purchase a steam cleaner to wash my carpet but i also have a vacuum that i use to take off the dirt off my carpet but it really needs a wash thats why i want to buy a steam cleaner. does the steam cleaner also replace a vacuum by sucking dirt up or is it only for washing the carpets? cuz i dont want to buy that on top of buying another newer vacuum: No, you have to have a regular vacuum to just vacuum. The steamer will not work as well as the vacuum; they are made to suck up water, not dry vacuum.
