- Q: I'm ready to pull my hair out.I can't seem to figure out how to use the standard normal distribution table to find Z.The question isWe want to investigate a claim about the average sound intensity of certain vacuum cleaners. Suppose the sound is a random variable having a normal distribution with a standard deviation of 3.6 dB. Specifically, we shall want to test the null hypothesis u = 75.20 against the alternative hypothesis u gt; 75.20 no the basis of measurements of the sound intensity n = 15 of these machines. If the probability of a Type I error is to be a = 0.03, what is the probability of a type II error for u = 77 dB.How do I use the normal distribution table to find a = 0.03. The only thing I know is that I have to do 1 - a.After that I can't seem to find out the rest of it. Please. Plesae just help with that.
- It means like this.... In making a vacuum cleaner, since it is fairly complicated and made of many parts and does not come out exactly the same every time it is made, there are many small random effects that contribute to the amount of noise that the vacuum cleaner makes. The normal distribution is what we see whenever there are many random effects that are added together. If the same random effects apply every time, and the same measurement and sampling method is used the same time, then the distribution of the measurements will fit the normal distribution.
- Q: What is the real reason Vacuum Cleaners have a head light on the front of it?
- As a modern witch (the broomstick is soooo old fashioned) It's a requirment to have a headlight when travelling at night or if up in the sky.
- Q: survey - why do vacuum cleaners suck so much ?
- Because that's what their suppose to do.
- Q: any specific brands or models? I'm looking for under 200 dollars, thanks
- Unfortunately with vacuum cleaners as with all other things in life, you get what you pay for. You aren't going to find a good pet vacuum for that price, unless you find someone selling a used but still functional one. I own a Dyson DC17 Animal. It does a great job, but also will run you close to $500. My less expensive Bissel Pet Hair Eraser was repaired under warranty 3 times and died again right after the warranty expired. Plus, it didn't clean half as well as the Dyson even when it was working properly.
- Q: Hi there - I've been given an OLD Elextrolux vacuum cleaner (a canister one) that seems to have lost some suction...and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get it fixed? I do realize this is more of an opinion question...My main concern is not spending as much $$ to get this vacuum fixed as it would to buy a new vacuum! Thanks.
- i'm surprised that it doesn't work. parts may be a problem
- Q: What is the difference between expensive and cheap robotic vacuum cleaners?
- The okorder for reviews.
- Q: Preferbly cheap
- Disney World or search it on OKorder.
- Q: Oke this sounds kinda dumb but i was wondering..IF i had a space suit which would make me able to ''fly'' just a few cm above jupiter, and i wouldnt fall in it. if i had a vacuum cleaner with me, HOW fast would it need to go to suck up some air of jupiter?ik gravity is terribly strong but still.. with the right speed it can be escaped right ?
- Vacuum cleaners don't suck up air. Vacuum cleaners move a stream of gas through a filter. What you want is a gas compressor of some kind. There are compressor designs for widely differing gas pressures, and there is one for the conditions you may find above Jupiter at your unspecified altitude.
- Q: I can't afford two vacuum cleaners or I would do my own research.
- Their two induction motors create a bad power factor. you better get a capcitor bank to rectify that
- Q: My 6 month old Sammys in love with our vacuum, any time I try to vacuum the house he crawls around trying to grab at it, and if its just sitting there, he's practically tackle it and try to climb on it! All my siblings were scared horrible of vacuums, so i find this hilarious! Who else babies love vacuum cleaners??? And is there anything I can do to differ this attraction? Lol, its adorable, but makes cleaning harder!
- just to be secure, positioned him in yet another room, my mom has hypersensitive reactions to dirt and whilst we vacuum she gets all sneezy so the vacuuming might like hearth up dirt and stuff that could subject him, sturdy success (=
