Q: Hello,Has anybody an idea when Sears will have their next sale on Dyson vacuum cleaners? Or any other place? I'm looking for a Dyson quot;animalvacuum and full price is not in budget.Cheers!
Phone them up and ask them.....................
Q: Had a Bissell which was about $50, well it didn't last , and saw reviews on Eurekas, which were pretty good. Which do you use and where did you purchase your's for a good price? Not looking for expensive models, just something under $60.
They all suck!
Q: I am trying to find an inexpensive vacuum for my apartment. One day I will buy a fancy expensive one but I need one now and that is not what I can afford. I have been looking at what vacuums people recommend and it sounds like the bagged vacuums work better. However, most of the ones in the stores are bagless so I had assumed that was better. Is that only true with high end machines? Or is everyone carrying bagless just because they look cooler on the shelves?
After making the mistake of buying 2 bagless vacs in the last 10 years, I have decided that my next vacuum will definitely be bagged. The first bagless lasted less than 4 years and I can't find filters anywhere except on-line for the 2nd vac and it would almost be cheaper to just buy a new vacuum than replace the filters.....I will be buying a new bagged vacuum soon.
Q: Are you afraid of vacuum cleaners?
No. But I still don't keep one in my house.
Q: I currently have a Bissell bagless. It just seems where I live (rural area) I am vacuuming 3-4 times a week and although I take the vacuum apart and clean regularly, it just doesn't seem to pick-up like I think it should. Anyone have an opinion on the Dyson vacuum cleaners? I am considering purchasing one and would like to know what you like or dislike about it. Thank you
I LOVE mine! I had a Kirby for a few years and was never all that thrilled with it. I was always told those were one of the best vacuums you could buy (I would hope so for the amount of money I spent for it). I went and bought a Dyson Animal and am soooooo much happier with it. I am constantly recommending it to people. In fact, my boss actually had me order one for him since I talked about it so much! :o) My favorite part about the Dyson is how you can see how well its working by how often you have to empty the collection chamber. I've heard some people complain about it not holding enough, but I look at it like it's actually doing an awesome job if I have to empty it a couple of times in one vacuuming session. And this is when I vacuum twice a week! Also, I love how easy it is to go from carpet to hard floors. Since I have a lot of tile in my house, it's nice to be able to vacuum the floors then go straight to cleaning the tile without having to pull out the broom. Plus, you can easily pull out the hose from the handle to clean corners, tight spaces, etc. without having to fumble with attachments. Even though $500 is a lot of money for a vacuum (I stupidly spent more for my Kirby), the Dyson is definately worth every penny!
Q: We have a mischievious dog in the house that keeps chewing and destroying things. The power cord he severed belonged to a Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive vacuum cleaner and it will take about $25 to replace, rather than buying a whole new vacuum cleaner. I was wondering if anyone thought it was a dumb idea to attempt to remove the back part and replace this cord or if it could be done at all? If you have any experience or knowledge in the structure of vacuum cleaners, your input would be greatly appreciated. :) The model number is 11635923500.
If okorder /
Q: case in point: we have bought two vacuum cleaners in the last 4 years that have stopped working. i mean, we only vacuum once a week or so, and these were name brand vacuums like hoover and such for around $100 or so. they shouldn't have died so quickly. anyway, i bought an antique vacuum from the 1940s off OKorder and it works like a dream. i imagine if it has lasted 60 years, it will serve me well for many more. i am just sick of cheap products. anyone else buy antiques instead of quot;brand newquot;?
I hate buying junk. Problem is by and large it's not cheap. If the vacuum you mentioned were, say, ten bucks you might not feel so angry. Then you would know it is cheap. But to pay a hundred bucks for a ten dollar vacuum wrankles me. Wally World strikes again! Always the low QUALITY, always!. Thanks for letting me vent.
Q: I want to buy a vacuum cleaner. So I went to OKorder and try to search for good yet cheap vacuum cleaners, and I want to buy this one:
Dust bags aren't required for the vacuum to collect dust and dirt. It's a bagless vacuum. The dirt goes into a cup, and you just dump it out.
Q: An appliance repair shop has 5 vacuum cleaners, 12 TV sets, and18 VCRs to be repaired. The store employs two part-time repairmen. One repairman canrepair one vacuum cleaner, three TV sets, and three VCRs in 1 week, while the secondrepairmen can repair one vacuum cleaner, two TV sets and six VCRs in 1 week. The firstemployee is paid $250 a week and the second employee is paid $220 a week. Tominimize the cost, how many weeks should each of the two repairmen be employed?
Don't okorder It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
Q: Yeah they all seem great the first time you vacuum, but then no matter how clean is the filter they just don't suck. I don't have $70-$100 every month to go and buy new one especially knowing that it's not gonna pick up what it's supposed to. I don't have pets and the carpet is short. Is there anything else out there that works? Does Dyson work as they claim? Please don't tell me to switch to wood floor or tile.
I have a Dyson, it is very good with good suction but it will cost you around $599 but is worth paying a bit more for in the long run. I have had two cheap vacuum cleaners and both were hopeless. Hope this helps
