Q: Where is a place in Louisiana to buy one? Is there a Dealership?
I had one it's a pain to drag around and horrible if you have stairs. It's heavy when filled with water. Get a Sebo or Panasonic instead.
Q: I am looking to buy a good, inexpensive hand-held vacuum cleaner for a friend who lives in a dorm at college. Her room doesn't have any carpeting (except for a rug), but the floor is not very clean. I know a lot of the ones I have looked at on the Target and Walmart sites are around $20. Are they any good? Which brand(s) do you prefer, and where can I find them? Please be specific! Thanks!
Here's okorder /... I would also advise a gift of the swiffer wet mop. Those are fabulous. I sure wish Swiffer would have been around when I was in college. *I see now that you're looking in the $20 price bracket....I don't know if I'd buy anything that cheap... bably wouldn't clean much if anything!
Q: ok i know that this question i am about to ask is a real dumb, lazy question but anyway here it goes.....i do know about the Canned Air that u can use which is for cleaning out your laptop/desktop you know to get those dust particles out and stuff.......but i want to know cant instead of using Canned air (or if you just dont have any) cant u just use a Vacuum Cleaner hose to just suck up all the dust from the laptop/desktop? cuz basically thats what laptops are made to do and it would be a easier way to save money instead of buying more canned air.....well can anyone let me know tell me what you think....
I used to use canned air to blow away dust but then again I would have to clean up after anyways. So to save myself the hassle I just checked for a handheld vacuum that wouldn't hurt my PC, and now I use that. Just make sure your vacuum won't cause any problems with your PC.
Q: what type of motors do we have in juicers, blenders, grinders vacuum cleaners ?I think they are all contains dc motors but what kind of dc motors they have ?
I know my Philips vacuum cleaner has a 'universal motor'. A universal motor can be operated by both ac or dc but the voltage is different. You can connect a dc to the plug pins to make it spin. But not if it is equipped with variable speed. In many cases, 12V dc is just enough to make it spin but higher voltage makes it spin faster (I have ever made it run in this way). A universal motor is very commonly used on power hand drills or other power tools. Its advantages are light-weight and high torque at low speed. This motor also has its negative sides: it is noisy and has (carbon) brushes. maintenance is therefore needed and its has spark when running. This motor is also called series motor because all of the windings are connected in series. In the contrary, squirrel cage induction motor is more common for other applications, such as fans, water pumps. Its advantages are quiet and maintenance is minimal.
Q: Heard this brand was good and lasts but don't feel like paying top dollar for a vacuum
not okorder /
Q: I wanted to get my mom a vacuum for Christmas, Problem is i don't have a lot of extra money around this time of year. Wanted any suggestions on a NICE, AFFORDABLE, ( somewhere around $100-$125), preferably bag less, with easy to clean filters and filters that are easy to buy in a local store ( Walmart, Kmart) Upright, with no canister. And Maybe one that doesn't require much assembly. THANKS :)
What a shltty gift. Never buy a woman a gift that has a handle or a cord. Don't you know that?
Q: I would like to know which vacuum cleaners are better - Hoover Vs Kenmore?
I have cleaned houses and offices for over 20 years and I have used every vacuum cleaner on the market. I think hoover is a good brand and eureka. The one that I use for cleaning offices and I have one in my home is a Simplicity. We have a local vacuum sweeper business that sales this brand. It is light weight and it has attachments on the sweeper and are handy to get too. Also it has a good filtering system too.
Q: For wall to wall carpets. Thanks.
Check consumer reports magazine's last 3 yearly reports booklets, at the public library. Check the index for vacuum cleaners, and look for their recommendations, repair records on the devices. . Good luck. Doc. Dan.
Q: My vacuum cleaner is broken and I was just thinking what did people use before vacuum cleaners? random question I know but it just popped into my head.
When Were Vacuum Cleaners Invented
Q: I can't afford two vacuum cleaners or I would do my own research.
Their two induction motors create a bad power factor. you better get a capcitor bank to rectify that
