Q: How efficient are vacuum cleaners in preventing the dust and other dirt that they suck from escaping through the air outlet. I'm using a Khind branded wet and dry vaccum cleaner model VC 3661, priced about USD 60, manufactured in 2004. The type that is shaped like a bucket and has its air outlet facing upwards and a removable, washable cotton bag inside. I notice that it has only two layers (slices) of dark -colored Sponge like material when I remove the air outlet cover. Is that sufficient to prevent dust, dirt and most importantly bacteria from coming out form the cleaner itself. It could be releasing the bacteria and spreading it all over the place.: How much bacteria do you think is in your house??? This is NOT something you should be worrying about.... If you clean properly, and regularly, and then do extra when someone in the household is ill, you're fine.

Q: Usually I just have to sweep kitty litter off the bathroom floor, but now I have some on my carpet. Is it ok to use a vacuum?: it will eventually break your vacuum. i've had to replace my vacuum every 1 -1/2 to 2 years since i've had cats. 16 years now.

Which one of these would be the best?: Hi there, I work as a technician on vacuum cleaners and of the ones you have selected I would definately pick the bissell. It will cost less to maintain when compared to the hoovers and is much better quality than the shark one. You will also find it will need less tlc than other competitors. The dyson is a slightly lighter machine to use but in all honesty it's not that much better than the bissell. Hope this helps :)

Q: The answers seem to be ads for this company: Shill. I wasn't sure exactly what it meant so I looked it up. Yes I am an enthusiastic customer. I do want to help this company. Why? If you dealt with them you would know why. They went out of there way to talk to me and explain which machine would be best for me. I have had friends call and they to were impressed by their service. I guess since lately everywhere I go I get NO service and NO help I wanted to let people know there is a company that cares. I have spoken to both Joe and Lisa and they both are very nice people with 7 kids (they just had one). I guess I am blown away by them. I mean they have all those kids plus they run a great company. So yes I am enthusastic because not many are doing as them and my hat is off to them. I will continue to tell as many people as I can about them because they to me represent my American dream and I am happy to help them. I would hate the big box stores to destroy what makes America great, companies like them.

I work at Kohls dept. store and people that have a Kohls account at certain times of the year can take advantage of our 30%,20% or 15% discount.. It's generally in the form of a scratch-off OR catalouge coupon... It's good on ALL the merch. in the store.. So, right off the bat you would SAVE and we also match price SEARS, BEST BUY etc.. not online... So, if you did your homework and brought in the sales ad etc...You could do pretty well.... ***The last customer that I sold one I gave him 30% and matched price so he saved about $160.... ***You don't have to have the coupon.. Just during the sale event tell them you left it at home or borrow one from another customer... ****Check your local vacuum repair shop and see if they have a refurbished model.. Good luck...

Q: there lot many usb vacuum cleaners are available in the market of different rates, but this kind of vacuum cleaner has enough suction power to suck the dust from the air vent(which is near to the fan) of the laptop? But let's say you decided not to take that advice. Then take the broken machine to a professional repairman. Let's say you didn't want to do that either. First let me warn you again that one of the first two solutions are your best bet. So you can't afford a new vacuum cleaner or to pay someone else to fix it. Ok. Unplug it from the wall. Check the plug and power chord carefully. Look for anything broken or bent. Replace any broken, bent or worn parts. By the way, make sure the outlet is functional. Take something you know is working and plug into the same outlet. If the working item does not work in that particular outlet then the outlet is broken. If the forgoing did not fix the machine then you really, really need to go with the first or second suggestion. If you can't then you have to open up the machine and see if you can find out anything wrong with the innards. Before doing that, check the vacuum hose, intake and filter. Make sure that none of these is clogged or broken. Replace any broken parts and clear any clogs. If you have to open up the machine then we are out of my depth. Yes I could tell you that after you make very, very, VERY, certain that the damn thing is not plugged into the wall, use a volt ohm meter to check the continuity of the wires and replace any broken ones. But if you don't know what a volt ohm meter is, you need to give this project up before hurt yourself.
