Features

Fire Proof & Insulation
Class A non-inflammability, no toxic gas, low in perveance, good electric insulation material

Waterproof and Moisture Proof
In semi-outdoor area and under high temperature condition, performance of Sanle boards is stable and will not bend or deform.

Thermal Insulation and Sound Insulation
Low thermal conductivity, good heat insulation, high in density, sound proof

Light weight & High strength
Pressured by 5000-ton hydraulic machine, it is high in strength and light in weight. It is not easy to deform and bend, and good for flooring and roofing.

Easy installation
The installation of boards is dry operation, which is faster. It can be processed with ordinary wood working tool. The board is easy to be processed.

Economical and Good looking
The boards are light in weight. Together with the use of keels, they can save cost of construction and decoration. The painting is uniform, and the surface is smooth, making the exterior of buildings good-looking and attractive.

Safe and Harmless
Test result of Sanle boards is better than national radiation protection standards of building materials. The radiation from Sanle boards is equal to that from the lawn 20 meters away from the building. The lifespan of Sanle boards is very long, and they are resistant to acid and alkali, moisture and insects. The toughness and strength remains the same when time passes by. So they can be used for a long time.

Installation:

(1) Lightweight and high strength: 3-4 kg/m2 (1/10 of half brick wall), with yield strength 400mpa.

(2) Environment-friendly : galvanized steel-no radiation, have no harm to our health and not pollute the environment.

(3) Products with fillisters : Setting some fillisters in both sides of the keels in a selective way, in order to strength the keels' vertical points and intensity.

(4) The metal stud with hole : one of our product is the special hole on C-stud every 600mm, which is easy for workers to install the electric lines and water tubes.

(5) Various sizes of metal track and metal stud : we are able to manufacture German,Japanand Aus-American types etc..We can meet your customized demands.

(6) Factory direct sale price : We have our own factory to produce raw materials----galvanized(zinc coated) steel, as well as the product line, so we can provide you a lowest price.

Q: Hello, my husband and myself are remodeling our bathroom....here's the question... we removed hideous vinyle tiles and underneath is the cement floor with thin layer of black adhesive from the tiles....the floor is pretty sound except for a small crack in cement by the entry door.... should we fix the crack and tile over the cement? or thin set 1/4''cement fiber board to the floor and tile over that? and if we do use the fiber board is the thin set enough to hold it down? we can't really screw/nail it cuz subfloor is cement. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
I am assuming you are going with ceramic tile. If that is the case then you do not need fiberboard. Just tile right to the concrete floor. As for the crack either fill it in or use a product called RedGaurd. RedGaurd is a rubberized product that when applied over the crack will expand and contract and thus keep the crack covered. You can apply RedGaurd then put mortar right over it.
Q: I need to know if hardibacker board is as good as other cement boards for use behind a tiled shower wall.?
Yes, its great. I actually prefer that over other cement boards. It seems a lot more durable and easier to work with (cuts similar to drywall). I did a bathroom renovation that I finished a year ago. I used hardibacker on the floor and the walls in the shower as well as half way up the wall in the rest of the bathroom. No leaks, tiles are holding. I'm happy with it and actually plan to use it in every room (even rooms I'm carpeting) to strengthen the floor and minimize noise on the lower levels.
Q: Does the cement board go over the lip of the tub, or does it sit on that lip?
it goes on top of that lip not over it tile goes over the lip make sure you have a gap between the tub and tile when setting a spacer will do. silicone the bottom row of tile to the tub after the tiles have been set and grout the rest I caulk the cement board to the lip when I install. Its over kill but adds a layer of safety Good luck
Q: Redoing my tub and shower tearing it out and instaling new walls and tile thanks.
1 st three answer are very correct. I have one VERY good suggestion. Pick a tile that has a return type piece of trim that will cover the edge of the cement board as you put the cement board OVER the green board. This gives you the absolute BEST water protection in a well used shower. Do this rather than recessing the cement board and have it flush w/ the dry wall ,although this is a good way to do it if the tile only has a SBN ( surface bull nose). Any questions you can e mail me and check out my qualifications thru my avatar. GL
Q: Composite foam cement board fire board grade and fire resistance limit?
Should belong to the A1 level, the fire limit according to the thickness will be different, should be in an hour or so.
Q: can plywood be used instead of cement backer- board for tile?
Im not for certain but i don't think it can be used instead of cement backer board. Plywood is very preamble and the grout may soak through? I would call a Lowe's or Home Depot and ask for the flooring dept. or lumber and ask them.
Q: I currently have aluminum siding on my house, I want to replace it with stucco. I need to do a full tear off because behind the siding is compressed fiberboard. I will need to apply a backboard to stucco over, so the question is, should I apply cement backer board, hardiboard or plywood? Plywood would be the easiest to apply, and possibly the cheapest, but that doesn't mean it would be best. Any stucco pros with some insight?
yea after the rip off you need to staple some felt paper (some people call it tar paper) then you neeed to use gavlanised roofing nails to nail up the wire mesh..then apply stucco...I would just nail up some 1/2 plywood..then felt paper then wire then stucco
Q: We have drywall in our kitchen that was painted with a smooth semi-gloss paint a good 8 yrs ago. We'd like to install 3x6 tumbled marble as a backsplash over the drywall. It's about 1/4 thick so probably slightly heavier than say, the tiny square glass tiles that come on a 12x12 netting. One person at the Home Depot said we could just sand and scrape up the drywall and then apply the thinset and install the marble. Another said we might want to use a cement backing. We aren't really DIYers and would so we don't want to create extra work with the cement backing if it isn't needed. That said, we don't want the drywall to start peeling and the marble tiles to start falling off after a short amount of time. Please advise. Thank you!
I would recommend screwing wonder board over the drywall before putting the tile up. This will give you a long lasting application. It will not up your cost a whole lot and you will be much happier in the long run.
Q: What are the brands of cement fiberboard
At present, well-known brands are Eide board, the new element board, the East board, the German plate, easy and board, Zhejiang Greenbok Board Co., Ltd. 100 wood fiber cement board, sea dragon board, Hadi board, etc., the name of these plates are corresponding to the corresponding company name or brand.
Q: I've taken up old linoleum tile, chip board, and two other layers of linoleum to get down to an oak floor in my bathroom. This has a felt-like paper uniformly adhered to it that must have been the backing for the first linoleum layer. I'm going to put down Hardi-backer, then tile. Do I have to take up the old tile backing material before I put down the hardibacker? It's very difficult to remove. Thanks!
No...you don't have to remove it if your putting down cement board. The contractor that did my kitchen and diningroom, left all the old linoleum down. He just put the cement board down, and the tiled. Just don't tile over plywood or wood floors without cement board.
