- Q: I am going to install some carpeting in my home and I was wondering if 2 pads could be put underneath the carpet roll instead of 1. I know they sell different 'weights' of the pad, but i wanted the thickest possible pad so that it can be very cushy. So, is it possible? - I recall you can one pad would be OK, or you can hire a professional carpet installer. I know a company that has provided carpet installation according to your budget.
- Q: We have an area rug over a carpet, no rubber underlaying, it's just a rug over a carpet. The rug is starting to curl/crease/wrinkle in the middle. Why is that? It was a fairly cheap rug. Is that why? Or because we have nothing under it but carpet? Something else?
- May be the quality, may be spot with most traffic area or . . probably too thin of an area rug. The thickness and weight of an area rug would stay flat better. You may need some sort of padding, or something stiff that you can use two sided tape to stick to back of area rug. Cardboard may work but then the area rug would have a slippery 'backing' and may not stay put.

- Clean off as much of the poop as you can. Then just wash the rug right in your washing machine... ld water, regular laundry detergent. Hang to air dry. Machine drying can ruin the backing of the rug. Good luck. -

You can have a rug on top of carpet.

- Hi I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (almost to the boiling point) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet). If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it or Dawn dishwashing liquid (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water) and repeat step 1. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaner of 14 years
