Q: It is always going to trip the lift pump station
Line no problem Check the electrical insulation, check the switch is overload damage malfunction.
Q: I really love lifted trucks and I have a ford ranger as my first car but I really want to lift it but its a lot of money. I really love lifted trucks and I want to do it to mine and put bigger tires on it too but should I do it or not? Is it worth it? I really really want to but do I really need it?
if you do not have a lot of money why waste it on appearance. lifting will make the truck top heavy and unstable in turns. larger tires cost a lot and only reduce the gas mileage. the short story is it is not necessary, so save your money to keep your truck maintained and in good shape. too much ego is not worth the expense.
Q: Does anybody know how to use a car lift I have one but have never used it before the brand is nussbaum. I could put pictures if needed.
its made for nussbaum cars only, wont work on any others
Q: I was wondering why cars don‘t work like airfoils due to their shape. I‘m talking a flat bottom with a curvy top. Sure not your ideal Epler airfoil but why is it that an airplane doesn‘t suddenly shoot up from the road? Is it the density of the car. Also cars usually want downwards force (inverted lift) for more traction right so I suppose that could be a reason.
is the car has been crash or front end damages before?
Q: Hi, I am capible of driving a manual car, so would a fork lift truck be much harder? The ones were I work have 3 sticks and all that, Can someone explain to me how they work please? how to drive them etc, thanks, also 3 pedels? whats this for? break, accelerator (clutch? didnt think it had one?)
I teach fork lift operation and safety and drive a manual transmission every day. The third pedal on MOST fork lifts, is called the inching pedal. Its one part clutch pedal, and one part brake pedal. It allows the operator to move the forklift, just a little bit for manuvering loads around. The levers are usually: Carriage up/down(what the forks ride on), mast tilt forward/backward(the tall part the carriage rides on), and the third lever will depend on what options the forklift is equipped with.
Q: My car is a little too low to easily change the oil. I would like to lift it 3. What is the safest way? I don‘t want to be crushed. I was thinking of nailing a bunch of boards, maybe 3 of them that are 1 thick and put them under all 4 tires. Safe?I do not have jack stands but could but it. No way am I going to work under a tire jack.
Jack it up, and then place strong, dense timbers or blocks under the chassis rails, make sure you lower off the jack and then give a good hefty 'wiggle test' to make sure the car is going NOWHERE.
