FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:

Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?

The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.

Q2:Which certification do your products pass?

  Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001ISO 14001API 6AAPI 6DTS CEAPI607/6FA/BS6755.

Q:Hey, ive got a scooby and have a baileys dump valve that is a loud deep wooooosh sorta sound. What dump valve does the more high pitch sound? also they dump valve with the higher pitch seems to need less presure ta dump, mine needs alot of pressure before it will dump loud?
if i remember rite you can adjust the control settings for your dump valve so that it will dump at a lower pressure and a lower pressure dump should also give you the sound that you are looking for.
Q:I was wondering if anyone knew how important tire valve stem caps were in maintaining inflation pressure in auto tires? I noticed one of my tires losing air slowly (from 30 psi to 21 psi in about a week) and this tire (unlike the other three) also had a missing tire valve stem cap. I've just replaced it, and was wondering if a missing valve stem cap caused faster loss of tire pressure.

Q:Holding my right hand up, I am a newbie :) any help is greatly appreciated.a) Comparing the shape of the valve to a golf tee, what is the correct name for the thinnest section of the valve(the part of the golf tee that goes into the ground)b) What is the correct name for the widest section of the valve(the part of the golf tee that the ball is placed on.c) The cylinder that the valve moves up and down in, is it just called the valve cylinder?d) In the valve cylinder?, how does the widest part of the valve keeps things sealed. Does it use a ring(simmilar to pistons) or is it some type of gasket material or is it just zero clearance metal to metal.e) The section of the (valve cylinder?) that is above the seal point or basicaly where the valve spring and the thinnest part of the valve is, does oil flow through here?f) Do (valve cylinders?) generate enough heat to warrant the need for coolant?Newbie City, I know. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.TY
a) The very end is the tip. Below that are grooves that the keepers lock into. This is actually the thinnest part. Below that is the rest of the stem. The general name for the largest part in total is the valve head. b) Surface sounds right. Hadn't really thought about it before. LOL c) Valve Guide. These can either be just a plain hole in the cylinder head material, or often they have bronze inserts. Plain Guides are often repaired by a process called knurling. d) Valves seal to the head by grinding each at the same angle, (usually 45 degrees) and then they are lapped which is where an abrasive compound is placed in between, and the valve is rotated. This matches the surfaces more closely yet. The parts that seal are called the valve face and the seat which is actually a separate part that is inserted into the head, and can be replaced. e) Oil is supplied to that general area, by either holes in pushrods that lubricate the rocker arm, or in the case of rockers mounted to a shaft, through the shaft. In the first case, oil is supplied by the hydraulic lifters. In the latter, the shaft pedestals are drilled for oil passages. In both cases, oil is present in the area, but is not applied directly to the valves. In fact, the job of the valve stem seal is to keep too much oil from getting in the guides. f) Usually the coolant flowing through the heads is enough to carry away the heat, although some hi-performance engines employ techniques such as hollow exhaust valves filled with sodium. Most normal valves are solid.
Q:what's the differences of American standard valve standard and Europe valve standard.Like API598 and ISO5208 , EN12266 valve inspection standard, or API600 valve design manufacture standard, and EN598,
It is hard to say generally. Each valve standard will cite other relevant standards, so it is API system and ISO system. Usually it has some differences between API and ISO valve, but it is similar. Most time the design Principal is same, the structure of valve is similar. For example , API swing check valve, it has an hanging system without bolt outside of body, but DIN swing check valve has an bolt for stem. The dimension obviously is different, API calculated by inch, but ISO usually use metric unit. Of course it can be transformed to same dimension. Below is some API standard, and ISO or DIN Standard. We are just able to discuss this topic for specific standard. For API598 and ISO 5208, in my opinion, it is a little different, but in fact, the differences is not very big, if an valve able to pass API598, usually same for ISO 5208. Same for ISO5208 to API 598.
Q:What is motor operated valve (MOV) please answer me if anybody have experiance in instrumentation filed, please explain overhauling and troble shooting

Q:I think the piece leaking is a valve;it is one solid piece of copper with two tubes, one which is a half inch that connectsinto the incoming hot water and then a small outgoing one that connects to the faucet and I don't know how to find a replacement part .. I think it is a Delta but I am not sure ... the house is 10 years old but where can I just find a valve instead of replacing the entire faucet if I don't know what the make or model is ?Any websites with pics of replacement valves for Roman Tubs??
Remove the valve and take it to a plumbing supply store. Home Depot and the like may have what you're looking for; but you're more likely to find it at a plumber's supply. They are the only ones I've ever found who carry odd bits.
Q:When my son was three I switched Dr's for him. The new doctor said has he always had a heart murmur I said no that's the first I've heard of it so we went for test. Anyway heart specialist did all tests said my son had Bav a valve disorder in the heart. He said it is very common. However everyone I've ever talked to has never heard of it. My question is does anyone have this what is your story and have you had to have your valve replaced. My son is very healthy active I'm just worried. Any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you!!
As long as the action of the valve is normal and child is otherwise active and healthy with normal cardiac functions, mile stones, and growth, you can almost forget about the anomaly.
Q:I'm going to replace a valve guide and wondering how I should do it.Should I drill into the existing valve guide to the point it's small enough to pinch with some pliers and pull it out? When I put the new one in, should I use a wooden dowel and an air nailer to pound the guide into place? The more info. the better. It's my first time doing this. Thanks!
Ohhhh man. NO DRILLS. I assume you are referring to an Aluminum Cylinder head. To do it correctly you need a drift punch that has a pilot size of the valve stem, and an outside diameter that is just a few thousands smaller than the guide. Disassemble the head completely, put in Moms oven at the highest setting it will go to ( 5-6 hundred degrees ) Pound old guide out from the combustion camber side. ( have every thing ready to go this FFer will be hot ). Coat new guide with something like STP, put in freezer, carefully align it, then slam it home from the valve train side, don't pussy around, get it in before it attracts the heat of the head, if you stop or it stops you will have to repeat the entire process. If you gall the Aluminum ( say O-**** ) Since you have to hit this thing fairly hard you will need to refinish the inside of the guide with the appropriate reamer. Then refinsh Valve seat ( they never, NEVER line up perfectly )
Q:Model 28 BS 12.5 HP engine intake valve sticks. Please advise. When under a full load like tall grass, it runs great, but when the load is not as heavy, the intake valve sticks open, spewing gas back through the carb and mis-firing.
Don't know anything about configuration of this model by number, but I can recommend you hit up your library for a copy of How to Repair Briggs Stratton Engines, by Paul Dempsey. I have 2nd edition, but I think they are currently on fourth edition. First thing I would do is pull the head and inspect the valve seats. Lap the valves if necessary. If the valve seats are good to go, then you have to look at the lifting mechanism. Does it have rocker arm, or straight push lifters? Could the cam shaft have been damaged (i.e., have you hit any stumps with it)?
Q:How can I tell if my 2004 Ford Taurus a 12 or 24 valve?
